he is pretty much in the same spot as Tyndall -- the coaches they replaced left alot of garbage -- both will need to lump it this season

Pretty much this. I'm no Pearl lover but most sensible people knew he has a tough rebuilding job.

The only ones crowing that he'd make the dance are ones just stirring the pot.

Sonny Smith, who loves Bruce btw, was on SportsTalk the other day and talked about the history of low attendance especially during weekday games..he did say that getting the students down lower would help but he mentioned the biggest problem in the past had been that many fans are in the Eastern time zone and the drive over meant that they would get home after 11pm..thought it was an interesting observation

I still say that Pearl had more talent that DT did this year..and remember their next loss with be number 20..I think both are good coaches..I'm just not sure either are very ethical..Coach Jones has shown you can recruit well without breaking the rules
