I agree it's time to move on but I disagree he didn't consider UT a special place. Auburn offered him a 14 million dollar contract and who can blame him for taking it. Don't think it says anything about his loyalty to Tennessee though.

Can we please get over this goofy notion of loyalty? He doesn't care about you or any particular school other than the one that's temporarily paying him.

Not that I'm much of a hoops fan but I guess AU is now my SEC team of choice in roundball. Just can't support today's decision. Looking forward to Pearl whipping Cuonzo's butt at TBA. WDE!

I wanted Pearl back, but since it is not happening my choice is to still support our Vols. Go right ahead and root for aubie. You going to weep, wait a minute,,,sarcasm, right?

I've posted before that the only UTK sport I really have a strong rooting interest in is football and that's because I grew up watching it and we did not have a football team at my alma mater while I was a student. Pearl is the only coach the Vols ever had who made the team interesting enough for me to ever watch a regular season game. I'm guessing the same will hold true at AU.
