What, in your opinion, would make us better fans? Should we be happy about the current state of affairs at UT? Would you keep your job if you performed like this coaching staff? I just want to know, because I really seek your approval on a daily basis.

As you should (sarcasm). Do I like whats happening with our wins/losses....No. But yall are putting it all on the coaches. Is it possible some players share some of the responsibilty. Blown coverage,missed tackles,lack of focus. We've got talent,but they haven't played up to the hype. Except patterson. We played as a team against ncst,but that was just the players,coaches didn't have anything to do with that.

Didnt he just get lit up yeaterday ? we need a coach that has been a HC and won.We dont need a DC that MIGHT be a good HC some day.Hell no to Kirby Smart to.

If need be Sal should have a practice that is an hour of straight form tackling drills. I don't know what the hell they're doing over there.

Pete Carroll's Seahawks knocked off the NE Patriots today and are 3-3 and in the mix for the league lead. According to the announcers the Seahawks have the best defense in the NFL.
He might be a nice guy and return the call but I don't believe he's going anywhere.

Hopefully it's a coach that can talk Hunter, Patterson and Bray from turning pro. I know Bray isn't ready but if there is a coaching change he may bolt..

Gruden has been the center of job speculation at the collegiate level. In April 2009, Gruden turned down an offer to become the offensive coordinator for the University of Oregon Ducks.[11] In October of the same year, rumors circulated that Gruden would be the next head coach at University of Louisville.[12] In 2010, Gruden spoke with the University of Miami about their head coaching job.[13] On December 2, 2010, Gruden said that he had met with University of Miami athletic director Kirby Hocutt about the position, but that he remained committed to his affiliation with ESPN.[14] In an interview in April 2012 at a University of Tennessee coaching clinic, he was asked about various coaching opportunities, and he remained ambiguous about future plans. However, it has been reported that on October 13, 2012, Gruden was in serious talks with Tennessee Athletic Director, Dave Hart. It is believed that Gruden has been Tennessee's top target for their soon to be vacant head coach position. Current coach Derek Dooley has a career losing record and has continued that trend at Tennessee. Sources have indicated that Derek Dooley will be relieved of his coaching duties at the end of the 2012 season. It is believed that Gruden has legitimate interest in returning to coaching and doing that coaching at The University of Tennessee. Tennessee insiders say that the contract that would be offered to Gruden would be something along the lines of 6 years at 5 million dollars per year. Gruden would be considered a big time hire for Tennessee. He has a super bowl ring and is on TV doing football commentary every week. Gruden would be a top notch recruiter. In addition to Gruden's recruiting prowess, he would bring an immense knowledge of football and how to win football games to a Tennessee program that has been through a winning drought as of late.

I don't know where you are at, but here in Nashville, there are jobs o'plenty. HCA is hiring 1200 people right now as we speak. They can't fill all the spots. They have resorted to head hunters. Most of the major contractors also are having a hard time filling the rolls.

All up and down middle tennessee I hear about new plants opening and there not being enough applicants to staff up.

Hell, at the lower end, the manager at lowes told me that they have been hiring decent full and part time positions with benefits for 2 years but can't get enough people to apply.

The notion that places aren't hiring is incredibly inaccurate. The motion that people aren't out looking for jobs....not so much.

OMG, someone that truly understands. Not sure if I'd go with those guys as my top choice, but we've got to have a commitment from a big name before you even think about canning DD.
