Avengers Endgame ****SPOILER THREAD****

My top 5

1. Captain wielding Mjolnir
2. Iron Man dying
3. Black Widow dying
4. Hawkeye story (the opening scene and then his whole scene with BW)
5. Thanos learning about the plan through Nebula
How about ant man being the one with the plan.... That should be in the list... Guarantee no one thought Paul Rudd was the one that was trapped like tapped to save the world lol

I've been surprised at how introspective I have been since seeing this movie. I told my wife today that it may sound silly, but I'm sad to see it end. I've never been invested in any movie character or plot. I'm not a comic book guy, and I still haven't seen several MCU movies. That being said, I realized after watching Endgame that Iron Man was the first movie my wife and I watched after getting married, and Iron Man 3 was the last movie we watched prior to her giving birth to our first child. It is purely coincidental, but I realized that this group of characters, particularly Iron Man, are linked chronologically to some of my very best memories in reality.

As far as the movie goes, I thought it was exceptional. I would add to the list of impactful moments Hawkeye racing into his house to see his daughter only to be pulled back from the quantum realm having not seen her and also Tony's posthumous message to Pepper and his daughter.

So Captain Marvel pushed the ship (that Stark and Nebula were in at the start) roughly 1000 light years in less than a day? Pretty sure he said he had around 24-30 hours of air and was about 1000 light years from anything in his goodbye recording.

Also.... when Stark grabbed Thanos' glove with the stones at the end did he transfer the stones or glove with the nanotechnology built into his suit or something?
Yes he transferred the stones from the gauntlet to his suit using his nanotech.

Thanos from the past was a lot more dickish than Thanos from the current period that was killed by Thor. I guess that's just what the pursuit of the Stones did to him.

What’s with the Larson trash talk? I don’t get why people don’t like this girl.

I'm doing it ironically. I've seen tons of YT hate videos, all of them trying to prove how the rest of the cast hates her etc. I'm not sure why she gets the hate she does though honestly.

I think it's the same people who were upset that a Captain Marvel was made with the female version of the character and thought Marvel was trying to be SJW's and thought the movie would fail. Now that didn't happen they have to go for something else to prove that she sucks.

Everything I've seen of her shows she is extremely cold.

Here's most of the reason why I don't like her, though. Interview below. The interviewer asks Hemsworth what the relationship is like with his stunt double. He gives a simple response, then Larson butts in, and, 1) acts "fake incredulous" that Hemsworth doesn't do his own stunts, and 2) feels like she needs to talk about how she did her own stunts, as if at some point in the interview someone said she didn't, or that it's bad if she didn't. Hemsworth VERY OBVIOUSLY JOKINGLY calls her Tom Cruise (which why in the hell would you be offended by that? because he's a man?). Her response is one of both overreaction and nonsense. I would liken it to someone throwing their Whopper back at the cook because they didn't put onions on it.

Most of this interview is cringeworthy because of her. She is overly-sensitive to the world around her, always trying to prove that everyone is against her, specifically because she's a woman. She creates drama where there isn't drama. I just simply don't like that kind of person. Watch the interview. MOST of her facial reactions are of a person that would not be fun to talk to in real life. Question at 2:10. "Moment" at 2:33.

I don’t know a ton about her really. That interview was cringy starting with the interviewer. Not going to base my whole opinion on her based on one interview where it seems like the joke was misunderstood.

Sam Jackson seemed to liked her enough to work with her immediately after wrapping up CM.

The dance

Corny as it may be. CA is my favorite character. The dance completes his existence

And I'm hardly a sentimental fool. But that was perfect

I think she’s mainly joking in this interview, but her stuff just doesn’t work like she intends. Both she and Cheedle seem very uptight. Hemsworth always comes across as a pretty regular guy that just happens to act.

Loved Endgame. It's not perfect by any means but it wrapped up about as well as you could expect something so huge.

I've read that Larson is extremely introverted, to the point that she comes across as unfriendly until you get to know her. I can relate, as I've had people that I've gotten to know tell me they thought I was pretty "stuck up" before I loosened up around them.

I've also read that combined with that she's risen pretty quickly to a superstar level and she's not exactly comfortable with it yet.

Apparently Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist were almost included in the big battle at the end but ultimately the Russo's thought their inclusion might confuse the audience.

They originally tried to get them in Infinity War too, but couldn't think of a good way to get them in other than some quick cameo.

At this point I'm ok with them waiting a few years to get them in the MCU proper since that will be around the time they start to get the new properties in. I just hope they don't do a complete reboot and ignore their Netflix stuff completely.
