'24 AZ EDGE Elijah Rushing (Oregon commit)

Whatever happens, things will be fine, ass long as Satterwhite is a Vol.

Rushing would be great, but an edge rusher isn’t exactly what is most need at the moment. JMO….

but in all seriousness this is correct.

keep building in the trenches, our edges are in a good spot but wouldnt hurt to get another elite one.

Rushing would be Arizona's highest rated recruit ever.
Gonna be honest. That makes me a little nervous. His highlights look really good but the competition does not. There is always a risk that guys are overrated when most of their evaluation is based on beating up on weaklings.

His measurables are right... and he does throw guys around like rag dolls.

If the measurables, athleticism, and drive are there Coach RG will take care of the rest.

with him announcing on 247 would wiltfong usually put in a pick? I know he typically ruins moments, but not sure if he does with kids going on camera

Always need more quality depth, but it’s not like we are dead if he doesn’t commit to Vols. But this is one that would make a great addition, and no doubt be a major lift in our recruiting. We have a great shot I think but we will know this afternoon for sure! GBO!

Growing up in Chattanooga, the Times-Free Press had pretty good Vol coverage (and color pics at the time). Our library would have the latest edition of KNS and when I really revved up my interest in recruiting in 1986, it became my go to. It’s not the same nowadays.
Yeah, I had an out-of-town mail-delivered KNS sub.

Some of that is unknown. The bigger question is whether he's a guy that would come in and contribute right away or need a couple of years of development. Some of that is drive but some of it is just how quickly he can adapt to college competition... if he can at all. That last part isn't a negative against him personally. It is a question for every recruit regardless of their rating or evaluation or prospects. Some guys just look great in HS but cannot translate it to college. Then once in a while you have a Jalen Wright who was fairly underwhelming in HS but has turned into a very good college player.
