about what? its a hard ask to get a kid to come across country. family is 1st. still dont understand Zona. Taking a top player here is more a luxury than a need.
Didn’t mean for my post to come off as an NIL post. Just making the statement that at some point you have to get guys like this. Even over playing with a walk-on brother close to home. As far as donations go we do donate to the university regularly. Not six figures, but enough for a good tax write off. I’ll let my wife know you said we need to increase our amount.with your obviously sincere Orange heart you can make this happen by increasing your NIL payments up to 6 figures with it dedicated to this recruit and his brother. Looking forward to your screenshot of the cancelled check. Whatever, You have to back up statements like yours with action. You are on the clock.
Players Especially if instate is low end like Arizona
And none of those guys went to Zona. Not saying the area isn’t talent rich, just that we need to land them eventually.Actually, Arizona has good to very good hs talent, as good, if not better than TN.... Bijan Robinson and Latham Ransom played on the same hs team as Rushing in Tucson. The valley ( Phoenix) produced numerous 4-5 stars in the last decade or so, Spencer Rattler and Kellee Ringo being just two of many).
Tbh, it doesn't really seem like UT has ever really dedicated resources to recruiting kids in Arizona before. The biggest player that I can recall UT ever landing from Arizona was Charlie Garner out of Scottsdale Community College (the Fighting Artichokes), but he grew up in Virginia. And none of those guys went to Zona. Biggest recruit in school historyHe won't end up at Arizona. They won 5 games last year and barely squeaked by north dakota state. Once the season starts, he will start having some serious post commit dissonance.
