'22 AZ WR Kyler Kasper (Oregon commit)

It definitely could happen but we were in way longer with Nico as a legit threat. Pretty sure Kasper has had 2 big Oregon visits already and this will be our first big one. Nico obviously helps big time but I don't think it's the same situation

True. I just think it helps us that Oregon doesn’t have a big time QB signed and we do.

I’m not usually a tweet at recruits guy but AP has been pretty vocal about the fact that fan interaction and enthusiasm resonates with this young man in particular, especially heading into the visit.

So if you’re not virulently against it I’d urge you to at least RT (and also, of course, pay these prices and please pay no more!).

This isn't directed at you but the people that complain about fan interaction with recruits are also the same people who complain we don't land those same recruits

Part of the reason Kasper was 🔮 to Oregon is because they thought Nico was likely going there. If he doesn't commit next weekend, then I expect the predictions to start rolling in for the good guys.

If they don’t land a top QB before then will it matter?

So we have fans who DON'T complain when we miss those recruits? I think we have complainers in the tweet and the don't tweet camps. Complaining is what fans do.

Incorrect and the first time we don't get a recruit because I didn't slip into their DMs begging the teenager to play for UT I'll gladly change my tune. I'll leave the creepy to the creepy and just quietly observe from my old man castle.

There is absolutely no slippery slope…. Kids want it and seek out more passionate fan bases…. People like Sab was already off the slope before his first tweet.

I don't engage with teenagers that are not biologically related to me, that are not biologically related to a close friend of mine, or in my small group at church that I help lead. As an adult, I am not going to be put into any sort of situation where I can be accused of anything or have an unknowing negative impact on a kid that I do not have a good first hand understanding of their personal circumstances. Kids today crave massive amounts of attention but they will have to get it from others because I am not getting in that game regardless of whether or not it has an impact on recruiting. Not worth it IMO.
