B.J. Coleman..

CJ Boleman would have beaten UCLA and Auburn? BOP1, your little attempt at being the official Volnation trouble-starter is played out!!! YAWN!!!

The opposite side of this argument fails to acknowledge that well into the 2009 season jon crompton was the worst starting qb in sec history. A very poor performance would have beaten ucla. It just needed to be a 2 on a scale of 1-10 to win. There is no doubt that coleman outplayed stephens and crompton by a mile all spring long last yr. As I said kiffin didnt want to start him because he was too young. He might interfere with kiffins future QB plans. Lane kiffin made it obvious and clear that he was not trying his best to win every football game last yr.

That's not possible.

Once again, do you know who Roy Olasimbo is? Or Bill Grimes?

I'm still trying to figure out how Crompton's 2010 season is going to be one of the worst in SEC history.

I missed when the San Diego Chargers joined the SEC.

numbers are hard.

And I'm for anyone joining that can beat bama. At least they'll be in the SECw

its only July 6th why are we arguing about BJ Coleman now?
I thought that was more of an early august pointless argument.

it's very well-documented that Crompdaddy was a fantastic "practice" QB. Is that what your saying about CJ Boleman? After that flash of greatness he showed against Vandy, you're saying that CJ Boleman was the best practice QB?

Say what you will about Kiffen but he stuck with Crompdaddy all the way and he was right. The proof is in San Diego right now.

How was he right when we lost 2 football games directly do to the incompetence of Jon Crompton? And yes I am saying that B.J. Coleman was better than Jon crompton in practices scrimmages and in the O and white game.

Is Stephens considered a quitter as well considering all he went through and then decided to transfer?

There's a difference between having some form of talent and squandering it, and never having talent to begin with

:good!:

FYI Everybody you can jump on the Coleman/UTC bandwagon anytime you want to. The Mocs should have a good year this year. You know just in case it is a bad year for the VOLS and you need another team to cheer for.

I'll pass. I'll stick with other teams to whom I have a shred of allegiance.

He's a pansy from McCallie. Ever meet a few guys from McCallie? You'll know what I mean.

Hate McCallie.

For that matter, hate MUS, MBA, Brentwood Academy, Baylor, Fr. Ryan, and anyone else who was added to our division since I graduated

I have a hard time pulling for any whiny-arse humans. No matter who they plat for.

I could care less if BJ succeeded or failed miserably at UTC.

But anyone pretending he was going to have a snowball's shot in Hell at being a solid SEC QB is full of manure.

How have you survived these last couple of years being a knicks fan?

We do have other players that have played/playing for the Vols that went to these highschools.

When he left Tennessee, he became an afterthought in my mind. HE WAS NO LONGER A VOL!!! Are you seeing a trend?

Yes that if anyone fails to meet your expectations then you right them off.
