B.J. Coleman..

Is Stephens considered a quitter as well considering all he went through and then decided to transfer?

No. He had several chances to prove he could play at this level. Three different Head Coaches coaches agreed. He doesn't have what it takes.

I'm still referring to players who claimed to bleed Orange. We got Stephens by default. He was committed to Orgeron at Ole Miss. When Brent Shaeffer transferred to Ole Piss, Stephens jumped ship. His bags were never unpacked. He's not a Vol, even if his hair matches the uniform. :)

JudoJew, I am dizzy from watching you suffer one sutemi-waza and kouchi gara after another. Such self-flagellation has no place on this board. To see your yarmulke fly off over and over is more than the innocents on this board should have to endure. Please stop and accept the fact that ole' beej is exactly where he belongs. UTC.

Thanks for the concern, but I am not a Quitter :)

Ok that is cold. Out of curiosity what about the players who leave college early for a pay day are they quitters?

By the way what ever happen to Shaeffer?

Ah well, I tried. May you find shalom as you continue this self abusive journey.

:good!:

FYI Everybody you can jump on the Coleman/UTC bandwagon anytime you want to. The Mocs should have a good year this year. You know just in case it is a bad year for the VOLS and you need another team to cheer for.

No. They are smart. (D. Rogan excluded). I fault nobody for getting paid. Very few players get that chance. I say, get paid while you're still young and healthy.

I'm running out of gas. Haven't you bled to death by now? :)

My thoughts exactly

If your only measure of success in the NFL is Super Bowl wins, your expectations are a little lofty. Rex Grossman played in one. Jay Cutler has had relative success. You definately hurt Kenny Stabler's feelings. What did Archie achieve? Really?

kyle orton got grossman to that super bowl

Do you cheer for your players/teams to lose? And thanks for calling me cute???

I have a hard time pulling for any whiny-arse humans. No matter who they plat for.

I could care less if BJ succeeded or failed miserably at UTC.

But anyone pretending he was going to have a snowball's shot in Hell at being a solid SEC QB is full of manure.

no thanks, I already have local teams to cheer for that are better

Forgot Bart Starr and Fran Tarkenton as well as Ken Stabler already being mentioned.

Dan Reeves was a QB at South Carolina. Even though he was converted to RB in the NFL, he was relatively successful.

Cutcliffe thought BJ was the best QB prospect on the team; but what would Cut know? After all he has never been around any talented QBs--------------------:)

what does that matter. He was talking about relative to Crompton and Stephens. Advocating for Coleman is hardly a ringing endorsement in those circumstances.

That's because he wanted BJ to be his "boy." Cutcliffe and Fulmer clearly didn't work with Crompton, and when someone finally did it payed off.

Cut knew enough to not offer him at Duke. I guess he got a hold of BJ's game tape

Cut didn't waste his time on Crompton and he ended up with the Chargers. He thought BJ was the best prospect and he ended up with the Mocs. It's ok, everyone misses
