Don't quite know how much of a stretch it is. All biblical prophecy has a short and long term meaning. Revelation is about the roman occupation of Israel and 666 is clearly Nero. Heck, it even talks about the particular Roman military units in the region and their landing at Caesarea.

Wow, some of you call yourselves Christians and you don't know the revelation?? I don't even believe it, but i remember reading in the revelation when i was younger that the chosen people(Jews) would be heavy targets of persecution during the "tribulation" at which point "the lord" will put his fut down and end it, thus beginning Armageddon. Lets see now, where do most of the Jews live....??
