Germany as a country was responsible for the persecution of the Jewish people (I understand other races and nationalities were involved but they were at least one of the targets) and so was the USSR. Look at how much heartache the country went through for decades (being split up and separated etc.) after that fact. USSR followed a similar path. Now most of this is just how geopolitics worked out of course, but it does make me think about it at times.

Do you mean it makes you think about the possibility that what happened to Germany and the USSR could have been a result of the persecution of Jews?

The result was complete control of daily life by the gov't. You know, the same gov't you democrats want us to have.

I was going to go to a Tea Party dressed as George Washington with a sign about descent being the highest form of patriotic. You think the anti-freedom rally would be more fun?
