It is silly to think we get off easy.

This and Matthew and Luke make a strong argument for a post tribulation rapture.

OE, to pick your brain here alittle, I Thes, 3:13, last sentence, Christ returns with "all" His saints. When do they all get there?

He is talking to the church in Athens........... not quite sure how is translates to the rapture. It is a word of encouragement to the church.

I kind of take encouragement from his words too.....I mean.....I am part of "the church" too.....is that so WRONG?

You are taking the encouragement as to mean the rapture. The passage simply means mutual love is required of all Christians. And love is of God, and is fulfilling the gospel as well as the law. We need the Spirit's influences in order to our growth in grace and the way to obtain them, is prayer. The Lord Jesus will certainly come in his glory and his saints will come with him.

Not to jump on the Nutty train because I'm not saying this is pound for pound what I believe, but it does make one wonder. Germany as a country was responsible for the persecution of the Jewish people (I understand other races and nationalities were involved but they were at least one of the targets) and so was the USSR. Look at how much heartache the country went through for decades (being split up and separated etc.) after that fact. USSR followed a similar path. Now most of this is just how geopolitics worked out of course, but it does make me think about it at times.
