good lord. All the belly-aching and negativity is beginning to affect my productivity.
I hope as much as anyone this turns around FYI
your turn.
I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so.
In doing this there needs to be no bloodshed or violence, and there shall be none unless it be forced upon the national authority. The power confided to me will be used to hold, occupy, and possess the property and places belonging to the Government and to collect the duties and imposts; but beyond what may be necessary for these objects, there will be no invasion, no using of force against or among the people anywhere.
You can dismiss it all you want, but holding up two one dollar bills and saying that under her administration gas would cost $2 a gallon? She is going to be relentlessly mocked by everyone except Fox News, which has its collective head up hers and Perry's butts.
Fox doesn't outright criticize Romney, but they clearly favor the evangelical tea party types. I guess they figure they need to be minimally polite to Romney in case he wins. But no shortage of commentary and stories on Fox of late not-so-subtly saying that Romney isn't conservative enough.
For awhile there, I had gained some respect for her. She sounded solid in interviews, seemed calm and, although I disagree with her on many issues, she seemed to have thought her positions through and could articulate them well.
And now this:
Bachmann: I'll bring back $2 gas - Aug. 18, 2011

It sounded stupid. He told me to go - I didn't want to at first - but I did it because he told me to.
Did you just compliment Clinton?hmy:
