Bama’s playoff hopes

I'd agree that they look different after Saturday. But I can't make heads or tails of how I'm supposed to feel about USCe. Yes, they beat two Top 10 teams the finish up the year. And it would be really easy to say "they really improved as the season went on." But they spent the three weeks before that losing to a barely bowl eligible Missouri, beating Vandy by a couple of scores, and failing to score an offensive point against Florida. So, did they improve? Or is it just a question of Rattler being schizophrenic from week to week?

I don’t watch them enough to be certain, but I would guess that the RB injuries during that down period forced them to shake up their offensive strategy which yielded good results.

Rattler is definitely "bi-polar" as a QB... He would have to have a manic episode against us... 🤬

Them putting in OSU over PSU even though PSU won the big ten and the head to head against OSU

Yeah but that instance is pretty close to what would happen to us; we beat Alabama head to head and have the same record and yet they are ranked over us.

Plus that 2016 scenario wasn't really that crazy from a ranking perspective; OSU started out ranked ahead of them and it stayed that way.

I don't get the love for Ohio State. They had one big game all year and they lost big at home. Alabama lost in the last seconds twice, on the road. Ohio State's schedule all year consisted of being favored by 15+ points in every game. Must be nice. Alabama absolutely should be ranked higher than them
They at least got a better quality top ten win though that Bama doesn’t have. They beat Penn. St on the road and their other win against Notre Dame is better than Bama’s wins or comparable

The ND win is not impressive. At that point in the season, ND couldn't beat Marshall.

The PSU win is a nice win but they were supposed to win that one. In fact they didn't even cover the spread. Sean Clifford was absolutely horrible. He threw 3 picks and lost a fumble.
