Reread - said since the streak was broken. Bear lost his last game so the number is 17-15: +2 for Bama where I said it was +1. Boca was talking post Bear

I missed it by 1 game and you think that's leaving facts out?

Point taken.

:hi:

I'm not an "ifs" guy but just to show how the 12 streak under the Bear really shifted this series balance:

If Mt. Cody doesn't block that kick a few years back, UA and UT are even in the series since that 12 streak!

Hard to imagine given how dominant Bama has been recently.

It's a great rivalry and hope UT gets back to where they need to be to keep it that way.

No problem with that. But you weren't the one talking smack as if Tennessee had done something.

I can't speak for everyone but for me, there's also a certain amount of respect for the barn. We may have played them this year and they beat the brakes off us, but I have an "enemy of my enemy is my friend" attitude toward auburn. Maybe my gfs family being auburn alumni has something to do with that too, but I certainly still felt that way before dating her.

Given that you aren't an Auburn fan, what you are doing is the very definition of living vicariously.

Not really. Many may not be auburn fans but we don't hate auburn like we do Bama. We are merely cheering on our SEC brothers in defeating a mutual foe.

Cheering on another team is one thing. Attempting to rub in the results of a game that your team had nothing to do with, especially when your team has been getting its doors blown off for the better part of a decade, is living vicariously.

So?

It is what it is. This is a UT board, feel free to go troll a AU board, but for some reason I doubt you will do that.

Who's trolling, chief? I'm not saying anything for the sake of prevoking an angry response from anyone.
