Bama has got away with-

I could not believe that the referees called a safety after DeBoer badgered them into it. If they didn’t call it because they saw it, they not have called on his say so.
They didn’t call it because of DeBoer. Everything is reviewed. It was a legitimate call once the officials discussed and watched the play again. And it’s the head coach’s job to advocate for his team after every play - I’d expect the same from CJH in that situation.

For some reason some Vol fans have looked at the Bama/UGA game and have concluded we are just superior to both. For the life of me Insojt know what they are seeing. I mean they act like these teams are just some lowly bottom feeders.
Yep, we still haven't beaten anyone to gauge this team, but I can say Bama dline will give our o line fits and our WRs haven't been very good at getting open, even against bad teams. IDC what was said, I think this is why Heupel played so conservative against Oklahoma. He didn't want to expose our weak passing game.

I dunno what game some of you were watching, but most of the game, Bamas secondary was swatting and tipping, what seemed like every pass. We still don't have a clue what our secondary is truly capable of as we haven't faced an offense with a pulse.

Ga will be a tough game for us, Bama wil be a tough game for us, Ky will be a tough game for us and yes, UF will probably be a tough game for us.

I don’t know if there’s a SEC officiating conspiracy or not, but if you asked me to bet the farm on three offensive pass interference calls to be made in the first half of any football game my bet would’ve been on any road team in Tuscaloosa

We have not beat neither team enough to feel superior. Both of them are really good. Some Vol fans don't know football

I think that they were discussing it, but the camera showed Deboer giving one hell that may not have been involved in the discussion. Regardless…..It was a bad look

It was not a legitimate intentional grounding. The WR was blatantly mugged to the sidelines and the ball was a go route the whole time; Beck never really looked anywhere else. If the WR was not knocked off his route it’s likely overthrown by a few yards not 15.

We really haven’t thrown a party on any secondary this year. But we are going to against Bama and UGAs? Ones that have 4 and 5*s?
Secondary’s that gave up 375+ yards each? Yes, they’re both suspect to big plays. You act like you didn’t watch the game or watched it and somehow missed the multiple 40 yard plays by both teams through the air. You take being “objective” entirely too far to a point of complete pessimism and denial.

I’m not sure if the defenses were that bad, or the offenses were that good, but both of them didn’t look like teams of the past defensively. Beck underthrew almost every pass that he completed longer than 10 yards. The final interception was because the db backed off the receiver and he faced the direction of the pass the entire play. I hope our coaching staff got the information from the game to put together a winning plan! GO VOLS!!

Beck never looked anywhere other than the defender that was about to plant him in the turf.
