Bama is on top now....give them their respect

You're kidding right? Bama still has more depth than UF and been on probation...hmm.

Considering Bama is playing with 8 scholarships shy of the 85 maximum I believe UF has more depth.
this is the part that kills me - when it's a convenient excuse (after a loss) you hear about the depth and lack of talent. But during that time when Bama beat someone - it was because they were Bama - somehow being Bama means you are better than other teams? No, you have better talent usually. Even at its worst, Bama was mid-tier in talent in the SEC.

Want to see a team without depth and talent stemming from probation? See Kentucky.

Bama has a very talented first string offense and defense...behind them the experience is near nill and, like I stated above, shy 8 scholarship atheletes. Not excuses...fact. When they beat someone it's because of preparation, coaching and executing properly...when they lose, oh wait...we haven't lost! Maybe you could tell us?

Your comment was about how much Shula has had to overcome - my comment referred to all the crap excuses to cover his first 2 years. Losses were written off to all the adversity that Bama faced (worse than any team in NCAA history according to the Bammernation). Wins somehow were attributed to the superiority of the Bama machine (whatever that is) instead of recognizing that you generally beat teams you had better talent than and lost to ones you had less talent than.

Much of the adversity your team faced was also the result of decisions by your own administration. Just as recruiting and coaching are the duties of the athletic department, so too are properly vetting coaches and playing by the rules. Failure to do ALL these things make it tough to win game in and game out. Bama has been good at recruiting (talent is as strong as any other team in the SEC) but very poor at picking coaches and keeping the program out of trouble.

I do believe Mr. B'ham places the blame squarely where it belongs, with Mal Moore and the President and the BOT of the University of Baha Lawrenceburg.

I understand Bama is back recruiting in Memphis:

The reference to a Slave Trade Market might seem in poor taste to some....try and keep the humor somewhat clean?

While Shula may have recently sent a recruiter into Memphis under the radar, a double agent from Knoxville took this photo of Phil 'foraging' on his recent secret recruiting trip to New Orleans.

Where are the Bama fans that said Ole Miss was going to be a scrimmage? HAHAHAHA!!! :eek:lol:

If Bama plays like that against the VOLS, the VOLS will run all over them. GO VOLS !!!!

Bama deserves respect for their record and the big win over Florida. But when the VOLS step on the field your the same Tide that the Vols have beaten SIX straight years wich is only respected the VOLS making it SEVEN!
