Bama might be on their way down

There are three certainties in Alabama:
- Bama cheats
- Their fans screw their relatives
- Other than the Marshall Center in Huntsville, there is nothing good in that God forsaken state

I for beating Bama when they're good so there are no excuses. A boxer who covertly uses loaded gloves is a cheat and a wimp. That being said, regarding Bama heading down, well, OP, if wishes were kisses, you'd have slobber all over you.

This place will have an absolute come apart next season if we all have to watch Kiffin standing next to Saban hoisting that crystal ball in the air. I'm not saying that it is definitely going to happen, but lord help us all if it does.

Do you really think that would be a worse feeling than losing at home to Vanderbilt?

Kiffen was a perfect example of 'The Peter Principle' ... that of being competent (i didn't say great) in his OC job and getting raised above his level of competence. Sunseri was a good defensive position coach, a lousy DC. Put him back where he belongs and was part of this years NC coaching staff that stonewalled the Barn, who stomped Mizzou. Dooley was an OK mid-majors HC, but lousy in the SEC, goes back down to a position coach at Dallas and his receivers think and even tell reporters he's the hot diggity.

Is Kiffen back at a level he can suckcede if Saban keeps him on a short leash? If he does, there is no weak link in Saban's 'process' imho and, as was stated, only those recruiting and fielding comparable talent have a chance of beating them. But oh looky at LSU, TAMU, and The Barn ... AND VOLS!!!!

Kiffin realizes that strike one was Oakland Raiders. Strike two was us. Strike three was USC West.

So, he should feel fortunate to even have this opportunity. If he lays low and concentrates on developing the "O Bama" q.b.'s then with Saban's recommendation, Kiffin will rebound and get another head coaching job at a major program in 4 or 5 seasons.

Bama's recruiting class after the 2009 NC won 2 national championships.

Penis

Bama won national titles in 2011 and 2012 after bad days at the office. And had the new playoff been in place in 2013, Bama would have been in it despite the loss to Auburn.

Penis

Bama went 12-0 in the regular season in '08, and went undefeated all together in '09. You seem to be a real history buff.

Penis

Tennessee still has a long way to go to close the gap.

Other than the fact we don't live in the most dangerous state in the country?

Yeah and the sun and moon may collide and explode **** all over Earth too! I'll take my chances with 4 straight #1 recruiting classes. The key is Tennessee has to get back to beating teams they should beat and winning their share against the others in the SEC. Then, a win over alabama is possible.

If you guys remember our recruiting class after we won the NC, we started our decline after that point. We had a pretty impressive class, but things started to shift in the SEC.

Can't do much better recruiting than what Bamer has done the past 5yrs or so...but, when you consider how well Bama's division rivals are recruiting, as well, they are in for a tough ride.

LSU and A&M had No.2 and No.3. Auburn was like No.8. All you have to do...the Denver Broncos can attest to this...is simply have a bad day. One bad day at the office and there goes (usually) a shot at the NC.

In fact, despite them having stellar recruiting classes, they have yet to go undefeated during the regular season, under Saban. It's about to get a whole lot worse for them, competition-wise. Not only do they have to try and get through the gauntlet of TAM, LSU and Auburn...but they also have us to contend with as well.

It's not going to be a cake-walk for them, anymore, in Knoxville.

Bama has Saban. And until he leaves, Bama will be very, very good. He won't accept anything less. Hate to say it, but it's true. No matter what we all hope.

I have to agree!! Bama has really looked like they're falling apart with another #1 recruiting class...getting 33% of the 5 stars....theyll be battling Mississippi St for last in the west for years to come

LSU, TAM and UT were RIGHT BEHIND them in the rankings. One of two more classes like this and they will loathe having to play us, once again. But in the mean time....TAM has put together 2 big classes, back to back. Auburn is back in the NC picture, again....and with Malzahn in the driver seat there...the Iron Bowl is going to be a game Saban wishes he could avoid.

The point here, Cephas, is that even the No.1 class a few years in a row does not = NC's. This year alone....proved that. Or didn't you notice? It was Auburn in the NC game...not Bamer. And even with all the 4-5* recruits Saban has amassed...BAMER GOT THUMPED in the Sugar Bowl. Or didn't you notice?

In the 90's we only had to try and get past Florida. That was hard as hell to do...Peyton Manning or not. Now, Bamer has to face 3-4 teams each year as tough as UF was for us. Miss St. ain't one of them.
