Dude has documented himself having anger issues and being unstable. I hope it haunts his ignorant azz for life. POS!
Both of these videos need to be investigated by the proper authorities………….:.::
I’d prefer he face the consequences for his actions and get any help he needs to grow and become a better person. He’s a person, not just a dadgum ole Bammer, bee-ruther!!

Figured with the Alabama fans wanting to start rumors of someone getting beat up Saturday, it would be good to start this thread to show evidence of Jermaine Burton assaulting a girl.

There's an AI program called Topaz AI that you can use to upscale this video to 720 or 1080 and also smooth out the frame rate. You can try it free: Video Enhance AI – Video Quality Software

Yeah it is a low quality video. It would be a weirdly specific thing to fake in any way, but the fact that they tweeted a screen capture of a Tik Tok is weird.

I'm not suggesting the video itself is fake, I'm just saying there's a blip there, the way an edit would be. She starts out in front of him, then is suddenly off to the side. If something was cut out or edited, that makes the video pretty suspect, and an easy defense for an attorney.

Interestingly, I looked for this video on the web and saw one on Reddit that starts after this blip ...at what would be the 4 second mark in the video posted here.

A situation like this is worst case scenario for the SEC and Bama, even Tennessee in a lot of ways. This exact scenario, or the opposite, with a Vol fan punching a Bama player/coach, is why there are rules and fines for rushing the field. Imagine how much chaos ensued on that field.

Is Burton a scumbag for this? Absolutely. But I’m not sure the SEC, or anyone for that matter, wants to start chasing down these incidents, because they don’t want to open that door. It’s a liability nightmare for both schools and the SEC.

On the contrary... I'd think the SEC office would want to come down HARD on Burton in order to demonstrate that they will in no way, shape, or form allow a player to lay hands on a fan (unless, of course, the fan instigates). In both cases it looks like Burton was the instigator and I'd think the SEC will want to make sure something like this never happens again...

I agree with you in principle, but this is how they’ll see it: “If we REALLY want to make sure this never happens again, we’ll up the ante and make the school fines much higher, so the school prevents people from rushing the field!”

Under that scenario, the fans lose. The SEC doesn’t want the liability, so they’ll put it all on the school, forcing Tennessee to make sure no one ever rushes the field again. And I don’t think any of us want that to happen.

Let's hope that the leaders of the SEC are not composed of a bunch of sorry ass woke people, cuz if they are there, then they will castigate UT and UT fans for storming the field - which means that Mr. Burton was defending himself against a mob of crazy people wearing orange clothing materials and was within his right to slap down women and children.

Tennessee is getting fined 100k for the fans being on the field. The SEC doesn't want fans rushing the field. This is one reason why.

Maybe if it was just the once... There's another vid of another kid that he seemed to take a swing at as well.

If it was just one or the other, I'd think you're probably right,... but twice? That's a pattern and should be addressed.

Add to the situation Burton seems to have anger management issues from before (I've seen references to it but nothing concrete) and he might just get a bit more than a "talkin' to"

Correct. If it went to a legal battle, while there’s certainly a case to be made vs Mr Burton, he (and the University of Alabama) could turn it right back around and say “Tennessee’s security team’s job is to protect the players on the field and ensure their safe exit and they failed to do that.” It’s not as black and white as we may want it to be.

In the end, everyone would lose in that scenario, and Tennessee would make sure that no one ever stormed the field again.

While that's true, it's a facile argument to say "if someone hadn't done X then Y <bad thing> wouldn't have happened"

Her being on the field in no way excuses Burton actively reaching out and hitting her..... or the other guy he did it to.
