Bama player appeared to hit woman as he left the field…

Universal Citation: TN Code § 39-13-101 (2021) A person commits assault who: Intentionally, knowingly or recklessly causes bodily injury to another; Intentionally or knowingly causes another to reasonably fear imminent bodily injury;

Not sure why you're defending this stupid boy....
Does she have injuries?

I would really like to see KPD or UTPD do something here. You can beat someone to death in front of everyone and on live TV and walk in places like NYC and Chicago and LA and Seattle and way too many other degenerately governed places in our own country (bad grammar on purpose). It is about time a place stands up and says "This is not acceptable and will not be tolerated!"

Saban said it will be handled internally.

What a joke. Is he going to let the AFLAC goat eat the complaints?

Don't really know what happened there.... but in complete honesty there didn't appear to have been much contact. She appeared shocked, not hurt.

I also don't completely blame the guy for being pretty frustrated and emotional at that point.

If the girl doesn't file a complaint the police need to stay out of it.

What are you talking about? who did Jeremy Banks assault?
There was an altercation 3 years ago. Then he said some absolutely idiotic stuff in the police car. It was handled, but some people don't think rehabilitation matters and people should be shunned from society forever.

The girl that didn't want anything to do with him he harassed for a couple of months. There's video of it if you look I'm sure.
Are you talking about him telling a girl at a party that he would "smack her" if she didn't let him in? Don't think that is anywhere near the same thing. A problem that was dealt with appropriately? Yes. Same as a player going around assaulting fans because he was mad that he lost?..Not even close.

Yea, I remember that. I remember him running his mouth at cops also...I'm just trying to understand how someone could say that was "basically the same thing" as what Burton did.

Intent is what matters most.

Back in the school yard boys did that same move all the time.
Coming underhanded out of your vision so that you would run into the other person's hand

I think it was the part about being physical with a female that was the comparison. Basically, don't ever touch a female....ever.

Burton had a run-in with 2 separate fans on his way to the locker room. Bama has to do something about it, but I think we are skeptical of the "handling in house" stuff.

They were both wrong. Period.

Bull ****ing ****

If you can't see a difference between a fan walking around and someone hitting her, you are beyond an f-tard

go get back on the short bus buddy

Honestly, of all the stupid **** I've seen on football message boards, I can still be amazed

Does someone help you tie your shoes in the morning? Wipe the drool off your mouth? Wipe your arse? I would think so, and I am being serious.

Here's another thought...bammer brought another 84 players, at least ((not sure how big their traveling squad).

Not a single other one of them did anything like this

Jermaine Burton is a nut case anyways. Dude doesn't need to play another down of football period.

Extradite him.
Someone get the Governor on the phone. Send the TBI across enemy lines to extract him like seal team 6. Don’t even tell the Alabama government we’re coming. They could all be compromised. The only one we can trust is Tuberville. He’s an Auburn fan so he’s sympathetic to our cause.

He did smack her (there's video), and she reported he had been harassing her for a while. It's exactly the same thing. He smacked a female out of anger or frustration.

Also, I'm all for somene rehabilitating themselves. Just not at a scholarship university like UT. You can do that anywhere. What about that kid that has no history of any wrongdoing that his scholarship could go to? Why do they have to get punished? The answer is because they are not as good at (insert sport).

I defend nor accuse no one. What I was trying to get across was that it is against the rules to act or react to a game in this fashion. As to knowing before hand a rule is going to be broken, well this is a sign of the times. Traffic rules/laws, drug laws, hell, most any "rules" are just meant as "guide lines" to a great portion of society this day and time. So you get this type of situation. You could say,,, "if you run on the field and get close to a defeated player or for that matter a exuberant winning player, you should expect consequences, you are on their turf, yours is in the stands," thus the rule....
If someone provoked any one of those players I'd see it differently, I'm not suggesting he go to jail but he needs reprimanded, what he did was totally unnecessary and to say that just because someone stormed the field with thousands of others they deserved to be hit is wrong and I personally think the sign of the times is that people think what he did was justified.
