Bama player appeared to hit woman as he left the field…

To say the football player was scared of a small girl. I’m not saying exactly what the guy did or didn’t do all I know for sure is you certainly don’t encourage bad behavior if that happens to be the case which is exactly why Saban is out of touch with reality loses any respect I ever had for him. As far as I’m concerned no telling what goes on at Alabama under his scrutiny that gets pushed under the rug. Now I think the entire football program may very well be the most cheating program ever as in the past I think Fulmer has questioned.

I get players (on both sides) being intimidated by almost 100,000 people rushing onto the field. Luckily this wasn't a soccer match in a third world country because it could have been a bloodbath.

YOU DONT REACH BEHIND YOU TO SMACK A GIRLS HEAD WALKING AWAY FROM YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE SCARED-in fact that’s a good way to invite an azz kicking!
That argument is just dumb!

Everyone on both sides of the ball and in the stands knew what was happening if we won this game. Bama has probably been rushed more that any other team in recent history.

I don't think Nick has heard the end of this one.

I didn’t have much respect for Nick Saban, Fowler, or Herbstreet before all this, but now they are lower than snake sh!t in my book. Look, herbstreet is pathetic. Lost all respect for him when he went full drama queen with his crying performance on tv over this blm, Inc crap. Both he and Fowler are ESPN mouthpieces, which is backed by Disney who can’t even determine what a woman is now. Just wait for it, next we’ll hear saban step up on his stool to reach the microphone on his podium and say, “We’re not even sure if the individual that Burton hit, I mean allegedly moved out of his way, was indeed a woman.” Seriously though, he is asking himself the wrong question. Instead of trying to make up BS excuses for this punk in burton, he needs to ask himself what he would do if the person burton smacked was his daughter instead of some “intimidating” UT sorority girl type. I always knew saban was arrogant, I didn’t know he morally bankrupt as well. Furthermore, if you are an Alabama fan grasping at straws attempting to justify this crap, you are no better than he is. As for herbstreet and fowler, herbstreet picked against UT in the FL and Bama games. We see how those games turned out. Keep up the great work flower boy.

You mean Europe?
They really to like their ‘futbol’ lol and they are far crazier (in a bad way) about it than Americans ever thought of being 😂 They can have it, it’s boring unless there are good looking players, and even then it’s still boring lol

I live in Bama. I played poker several years ago with a bunch of guys from Athens AL, and the previous week a former bammer NFL player fired off a weapon over in Athens during the bye week while he was home visiting his family. Got mad about something and started firing into the air, I think. No one was hurt, but he got suspended a few games.

It became a topic of conversation at the table, and some of the guys there had known this player and his family since when.

So...they said he had similar incidents down in Tuscaloser that were covered up.

They didn't say what other than it involved a lack of self-control and anger management. May or may not have involved firearms.

I have absolutely no doubt it was true. Why would they lie? They were all bammer fans.

FWIW.

It was Rolando McClain

He had quite a rap sheet after graduation. I'd say the odds of something having occurred at bammer are pretty good. :p

Rolando McClain - Wikipedia

On December 1, 2011, McClain was arrested by Decatur police and charged with third-degree assault, menacing, reckless endangerment, and discharging a firearm inside the city limits, all of which are misdemeanors, for a shooting incident that occurred the night before.[41][42] On May 17, 2012, McClain was found guilty on all counts, ordered to pay a $500 fine for each charge, totaling $2,000, and sentenced to spend 45 days in jail for each charge, 180 in total. He was freed on bond, and will begin serving his sentence on June 1.[43] On November 18, 2012, while the case was on appeal, the charges were dismissed by the Judge after the victim decided not to press charges. According to lawyers involved, a financial settlement was reached between McClain and the victim.[44]

On January 8, 2013, he was arrested by Decatur Police in Morgan County after an officer pulled him over for a window tint violation. McClain provided the officer with a false name and he was arrested and booked into the Decatur City Jail. McClain bonded out of jail later that day.[45]

On April 21, 2013, McClain was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.[46]

Between his departure from the Ravens in May 2013 and his return to football with the Dallas Cowboys in July 2014, McClain moved to Tuscaloosa, where he re-enrolled at the University of Alabama to try to finish his bachelor's degree in family financial planning.[22] He was still a few credits short of the degree when he joined the Dallas Cowboys. He eventually graduated with his degree in December 2017

On December 22, 2014, he lost his Tuscaloosa house due to a fire that was eventually ruled as an arson.[47] At the time, the house was vacant and listed for sale.

On August 2, 2016, after his suspension in June 2016 for violating the NFL substance abuse policy, it was reported that McClain had become addicted to codeine after consuming the mixture known as purple drank.[31][32]

On May 12, 2017, he was arrested on equipment violations, firearm and drug charges, according to the Hartselle Police Department.[48]

On July 30th, 2022, he was arrested on drug and weapons charges, according to the Moulton Police Department

The only thing Nick Saban cares about is winning. He couldn't care less about doing the right thing.
