Bama player appeared to hit woman as he left the field…

Oh...and to you clowns making excuses for hitting a helpless girl in a sundress? Men don't do that. Ever. Your Dad should have driven that home as a kid ...if he didn't, then he failed you both. Mom should have picked up his slack.

Unless a biologically weaker by design female is attempting to kill you in a situation where simply fleeing, getting away from her is not possible.. or she is an MMA champ about to seriously injure you..there is NO valid excuse or reason for hitting a female. Period. You should not have to be told this truth as an adult....you should already know better.

She should not have been on the field, He should not have put His hands on Her. If She feels that She has a legal avenue, She should pursue it.
Do you know for a fact she wasn’t supposed to be on the field? What if she had the proper credentials to be down there? What if someone on staff told her she could come down? What if she felt she was in danger by the rush of people and felt her only way to be safe was to go on the field? You seem to have all the answers so I am curious to get your facts.

I'm curious if Burton the woman slapper would've been suspended if they had been playing vandy this week?

That rule is directed at the school not the individual. The school decided to allow it against Bama and pay the fine.
Damn it freak I was wanting him to respond to my questions and this was I was going to hit him with. You stole my thunder.

Well $hit Bruh, I suppose if they both weren't born, it wouldn't have happened either. In the context of the events right ?!....I shouldn't have to hold your hand and walk you through this.
Exactly. All are equally ridiculous assertions. Thanks.

He knows he just trying to get a rise out of people and it worked. No true vol fan can be ok with that or should be ok with that. Which leads me to believe he's not a vol fan. Or he's got anger issues with the female gender himself..
Kinda reminds me of someone saying “she shouldn’t have dressed that way” after being the victim of a sexual assault. “Actions have consequences!”

Yeah, let the Special Victims Unit know they can stand down because those girls shouldn't have been wherever they were attacked.

Fowler said Burton was afraid, he shoved the fan, and it’s difficult to assess because fans shouldn’t rush the field. He also indicated that it was all okay because Burton has been in anger management. Herbstreit remained stone silent and tried to change the subject. They both said Omari Thomas should have been called for targeting, and the refs should have apologized to Bama, when the CBS commentating crew explained clearly during the game why it wasn’t targeting. It’s funny how on ESPN they only showed the angle that made it look like targeting, but they didn’t show the angle that clearly shows that it wasn’t. So basically, according to Fowler (because he outright stated it) and Herbstreit (de facto from his silence), Thomas should be suspended for trying to tackle Young, but Burton should not be suspended for hitting a fan. That’s where these guys stand.

People should blow up Fowler’s, Herbstreit’s, and Saban’s Twitter accounts with questions about when it is and when it isn’t okay for a fully equipped football player to strike a woman. Demand answers and specificities.

Mods, please merge if necessary. Saban’s rules on hitting women here.

The Alabama player who smacked our Tennessee girl after the game has evidently faced no consequence whatsoever from the Alabama football program. Jermaine Burton started last night against Miss. State. No word if he had to run laps after practice or not.

Saban even blamed us because our fans rushed the field. Said he and his players were scared.

What if it was your daughter, Nicky? Eh? Different rules for your players, right?

Mothers of Alabama recruits, do you really want your sons to play for a guy like this?

There is another option. Since bama chose not to punish the guy, the victim does have legal options along with evidence. She can press charges or sue him and the school. Given our society these days, I'm actually surprised it hasn't happened yet.

Very true.

Somethings got to be getting lined up behind the scenes.

You're obviously a fan of this thread..go through and read all of the comments I've made. I've made my position clear.

The assertion that she is absolved of responsibility is asinine. If you want to go down this road I can dog walk your @$$ too.
The only RESPONSIBILITY she had as a VOL was to rush that f***ing field.

We all knew what was going to go down if we won and how it was going to go down and what happened was pure freaking ecstasy.

Alabama knew we would rush the field. They've been through that.

The rule against rushing the field is utterly meaningless. Rushing the field in the way we did was a celebration of LIFE.

And that piece of trash playing for the hated crimson tide blatantly assaulted a random girl because he was just butthurt. Because he's a loser sack of trash.

Her rightful place was on that field sir. We were all on that field with her in spirit. I guess except you. More worried about conjuring up some mental gymnastics to bring fault on to her instead of focusing on Jermaine Burton.

You're literally just dying on this hill because you're too much of a coward to be wrong.

It was her RIGHT as a vol to take that field.

Screw Jermaine Burtons woman beating butthurt ass and all his crimson tide low life fecal matter apologists.

Get real dude.

I've rewatched the end of this game more than I will care to admit, GO VOLS WOO. Saban was escorted off like he normally is post handshake. He had a posse of cops around him lol.

Bama players are clearly seen walking off the field post win. Not running for their lives, walking. Walking.

Walking. They didn't run for their lives. They walked off the field.

Scared my ass.

So the school made a decision and is willing to live with the consequences ?! "Thanks".
I find it 9dd that you have that profile picture, but are neck deep defending a man going out of his way to hit a woman. Even more odd, there's another video of him hitting a guy who actually had a camera in his face, and you've not said a word about that, how the guy deserves it. You're only determined to convince everyone that she deserved it. So you think it's okay to hit a woman just because you're mad? No wonder you're a keyboard warrior, I bet you'd pee yourself having to confront a man in real life.
