Bama got turned down by the Citrus Bowl for South Carolina.
Iām curious what your take on Milroe is. The one Bama friend I have is very reactionary, āBlah blah, Milroe sucks! Get him out of Tuscaloosa!āWhile this is disappointing, if any Bama fan would be honest, watching Jalen Milroe try to play at South Bend or State College in late December sounds like a nightmare.

The young man is obviously very talented, but so inconsistent. To me it just seems like he doesnāt have the emotional (distinct from mental) makeup. All qbs need to have a little bit of an edge, a killer instinct, not unlike great shooters in basketball. I havenāt seen that from Milroe.
Do you think he returns next year? Is your future starter on the roster now?Milroe is a great kid. I can't think of many better with whom I've interacted.
He's super talented. Big arm. Incredibly fast for his size.
He doesn't read the field well. And it's something that multiple coaches have worked on with him. It's simply never come together. But his biggest flaw is what goes on in his head when he doesn't feel like he can run the ball. He goes completely rat trap. He stops going thru his progressions, he stops feeling the pass rush, and he starts throwing the ball to the other team. The Oklahoma game is the most obvious example. OU set out to completely take Jalen's legs out of the gameplan. They put two spies on him on every play. When Jalen couldn't run, he melted down. A lot of Bama fans have criticized OC Nick Sheridan for continuing to call QB runs. But I think some of that criticism is misplaced. Some of those runs were called options, but Milroe appeared to have made up his mind to keep it before the snap. And further, Sheridan knows that Jalen can't perform if he can't run. He kept calling QB keepers because finding success was the only way to get Milroe's head back in the game. Unfortunately, it never happened.
That's all a long-winded way of saying that I appreciate Milroe for who he is and what he's done on the field. But I'm ready to see someone else taking snaps. If Milroe decides to sit out the bowl game, he'll get no criticism from me.
Yes but he made some darn good points about playing in the SEC which were absolutely correct. Yes he pulled for Bama to be included but he spoke louder for the SEC publicly than the Commissioner has.
My take on him is that he's a LOT like Justin Fields. Not saying he'll be as mediocre as him in the NFL, but his play style is very similar to that of Fields'. He is for sure a very talented man, but I think he needs more mental prep before going to the big league. He doesn't seem as on edge (like you said) as Cam Ward or Sheduer Sanders, but I think his career will be a good one- just not a legendary one. You feel me?Iām curious what your take on Milroe is. Like I keep saying- Bama got "punished" because they lost three games, two to objectively not good teams, and one of those an absolute blowout.Tide AD to reevaluate scheduling after CFP snub

I don't get this and I am not sure what they are insinuating. Are they implying they want to play a WEAKER OOC? Cause if that is the case, that is insane. Their OOC schedule this year ended up being super weak. Yes USF and WKU aren't push overs in terms of Group of 5 schools, but they aren't anywhere near top 25 teams. And Wisconsin was awful this year. So if they think their OOC schedule was some sort of shining beacon of dominance... well then they are even more delusional than I thought.
I don't understand this either, their losses were in conference, which they can't control. What is a weaker OOC schedule supposed to fix?Tide AD to reevaluate scheduling after CFP snub
