Oh how times have changed! The sec is wide open again! There is no dominant team on either side anymore!! Best football in the country and the VOLS have a chance to beat anybody!! Love it.
If they win out they will be in the playoff. Especially if Ole Miss slips up, and they will.
If you remember, Ole Miss beat Alabama last year and they made it to the playoffs.
Good God man.
Both teams have bad qb situations (might even say MIZZ qb is better) who's offenses are not clicking and holding themselves in games with defense.
Both teams are scoring around 30 points in any given game. That's not going to cut it any more.
Both teams are sliding downhill pretty quickly. At least I expect MIZZ to get better as the season goes on.
YOU'VE SEEN ALASALAMIS BEST GAME. It doesn't get any better.
We have 5 QBs on the roster, none of which are comfortable running the system we're trying to run.
We have the worst technique and fundamentals in the secondary that I can ever recall a Bama team having, and that include the early Shula years when we couldn't stop anyone.
Our special teams find new and inventive ways to screw up every single week, and the fact that Bobby Williams gets a six figure salary to put that crap on the field makes me lose faith in humanity.
We turned the ball over 5 times. We got no takeaways.
Despite all of that, Bama had a chance to win in the 4th quarter. This team has the capacity to run the table, which will more than likely mean another trip to Atlanta and a spot in the playoff. But it will require a bunch of guys, players and coaches, pulling their heads out of their rear ends.
I'm starting to think though that if Ole Miss were to ever do anything significant, this might be the year to do so.
The transfer QB they got from Clemson (Kelly) is clearly a major step up from the fairly good but often very bad play that Bo Wallace gave them last season...Kelly seems more along the lines of how Freeze would like his offense to run.
