Bammers blaming the refs.

The refs weren't perfect, but they were consistent. UT was called for pass interference on 2 underthrown balls before Bama was called when Hooker threw an underthrown ball.

There was a missed call where on of our DL hit Bryce Young in the head. But generally, the refs were consistent in allowing hits on the QB. Not our fault we were generating pressure and they weren't.

Bama only has themselves to blame for the false starts, delay of games, and procedural penalties.

It’s time to move the SEC offices out of Alabama. It’s crazy that they actually believe their opponent received favorable whistles that cost them a game. How many opponents got the short end of that over the last 16 years of Saban?

Alabama broke their own record for penalties against Texas in a win. I'm guessing that was the refs fault as well. Cry more, Gumps.

My Sand Mountain Cousin said he was coming to Knoxville where them refs were and going to whup their ass. I told him they were based out of Birmingham. He said they ain't noway Nick wouldn't allow it.

Seriously. A Bama fan complaining about officiating is like the fat guy complaining about the lack of desserts in the cruise ship buffet line.

Tell them to go back and look at Gibbs walk in TD run from about 25 yards. Da’Jon Terry was in position to make the tackle except for an absolutely mugging by the Bama OL. It was awful.

Danielson was shockingly neutral for most of this game. I think we fully earned his respect, for whatever that's worth.
I thought so as well, but for whatever reason there are a lot of VN fans that have a lot of butthurt over him. I think he did a pretty good job actually. At least he ain't that jackass Chris Fowler.

The only reason Bammers are complaining about the refs is because they feel they didn’t get their moneys worth. They didn’t get what they paid for.

Objectively, I noticed the refs missed:
* a head shot against their QB
* a facemask against their WR while he was trying to catch the ball
* pass interference against our WR

The pass interference that saved the game for us was legitimate, but it was a borderline no call since the contact wasn't excessive. Of course, like everyone already knows, they called a phantom pass interference against us that took points off the board. They don't have much to complain about for the rest of the calls. I didn't see any calls that didn't happen. They're just accustomed to getting the benefit from the refs and it was roughly even last night.
While it didn't have much impact, look at the spot at 7:07 in the third quarter. Latu CLEARLY stepped out at the 11-1/2, but the ball was spotted at the 10.

Really, I talk about people mooning the player bus being classless and didn’t say anything about celebrating or being obnoxious. Whatever dude, yeah I’m the imbecile.

What about teabagging your opponent after they’re knocked out in the middle of the ring? Fair game or inappropriate?

That Bama offensive line held on almost every down, I was litterly screaming at the tv on some plays so them complaining is hilarious...If anything the refs screwed us multiple times over the series with them so they just need to shut the hell up!
