Did not know it comes in any other caliber. A lgs I frequent here in Nashville had some earlier this year but I haven’t seen one in a bit either. COVID caused a lot of issues with Euro imports. I think PPk has a major component that is only made in Germany. Store where I remember seeing is Nashville Gun and Knife.Question for those of you that follow these things more than I do. Does Walther still manufacture the PPK in .380? I've been intermittently checking stock online and haven't seen a new one in what seems like years.
I think they used to make a .22. Last time I went to Nashville Gun and Knife was during the worst part of covid and they were cleaned out. I spent a weekend looking for 12 gauge target loads and there were none to be found.Did not know it comes in any other caliber. My buddy sold one at his shop that had some wear for 675$ and it sold quickly. I’d say 700$ to 900$ is a good range.@Orangeslice13 about what would one of these cost ?

Bought one about 6 months ago and I like it. Been looking for a PPK just because I think it would be cool to add to the collection. I like the look.Got the wife (and me) a S&W M&P Shield .380 EZ. Great intermediate sized "compact". Easily racks. Shoots fantastic, good weight. (Hated my step-sons pocket .380). But still concealable, though not a micro model. Multiple safeties. Accessory rail. Lot of features for not a lot of $$. Shoot reputable FMJ's out of it for target. Keep a clip of NovX in for defense. Shown below. Love how these shoot. I've got average hands and my pinky is right at bottom of grip. I went on amazon and ordered a contoured replacement end cap for the magazine that gives it that pinky rest for about $10. Need to get one for the other clip. We got lucky and got last one in stock at Academy for under $300 about 6 months or so ago. For the money in a .380, I wouldn't get anything else. Mostly I'm hooked on Beretta 9mm. But, years ago, I sold off my pistols and all but 2 rifles (new family budget, etc) and this is my first pistol since. I wouldn't pay extra for the Walther when I can get this for under $300. Not sure if prices are jacked up now though.

Value goes up with the SRT installed and if it has the E2 grip (like the one in the picture)
The 9mm is worth it. The .40 can beat your hands up pretty good otherwise. SSC has a really nice 229 in 9mm in the two tone finish.
