30 incher. I will prob just shoot it a few times and store it. I have a hunting one that the wood is in bad shape and I think I will take extra care of this one.

I'd say not far. It's a smooth bore, but I wouldn't want to be on the other end to find out. lol

Reminds me of a certain variety from the Czech Republic.

I have new project.
I’ve gotten a M1 carbide (cheap) I’ll have it Monday.
It’s a 1944 Winchester.
It’s missing the front and rear sights. And also missing the bayonet carrier. This sling areas in the stock have been filled in.

I’m not sure how to proceed.
I’m thinking it should be returned to original condition.
What say y’all?

So….I refinished my 200$ Pos SKS over the weekend.
-it’s beat to hell and I’ve never seen so much cosmoline.
-I scraped it, steamed a lot of the dents out, left some of scratches and dents out of respect for what it went through.
Sanded it out with 200, 390, and 600. Finished it with teak oil and I could not be happier with it.

So I picked up another POS today
It’s a Remington 11-48 Mohawk.
Should be a really nice gun and hopefully will be again but someone screwed it up big time.
150$ from the junk barrel.
