Banshee

Banshee marathon on Cinemax now. This show is even more awesome second time around

Well started my marathon, I'm going to miss this show so much. I really can't think of a show that has consistently entertained me every single week. I would be worried that this season would be rushed to try and cram everything they need into the final season, but it moves at a crazy pace anyway. I hope Hood rides off into the sunset flipping Carrie the middle finger.

My guess is one of the two end up dying. Should be a wild ride though. I wonder what the writers are going to do next

It's always so weird to hear a character you know so well speak out of character and find out their British or Australian. I had no idea Hood was was from New Zealand.

Friday, can't wait. Going to be a hell of a ride. Any clues as to what the writers/producers do after Banshee is over

From an article I remember reading about John Tropper last year when it was announced that this season would be the final one:

In addition to Banshee, Tropper is writing and executive producing a drama project for Cinemax, Warrior, inspired by writings of Bruce Lee and shepherded by Justin Lin, who is set to direct and executive produce. Additionally, Tropper and fellow Banshee executive producer Greg Yaitanes recently sold hourlong drama American Body Plant to Cinemax, which was created by and will be written by fellow Banshees Jennifer Ames & Steve Turner.

Tropper also is in discussions on a number of other projects for both HBO and Cinemax, which he will develop through his production company Tropper Ink. He also recently did consulting work and wrote an episode for HBO’s upcoming Rock & Roll drama series (what became Vinyl).

On the feature side, Tropper is adapting the novel Priority List for Warner Bros, Steve Carell and director David Frankel. He rewrote Goodbye For Now for Lionsgate and Temple Hill. His most recent novel and own screenplay adaptation One Last Thing Before I Go is set up at Paramount with J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot producing.

Can't say I was really disappointed by the episode, I thought everything that they seemed to be setting up worked well. Only concern I really had was, given the fact that we know that this season is it, I just worry about how many new story lines they can introduce and wrap up all the old and new stories satisfactorily.
