Barnes gets contract extension through 2026-2027

Sorry forgot wanting a NC winning coach is a bad thing. Guess you wouldnt hire Saban either.

There’s Four Teams in the CFP compared to Sixty Eight Teams in the NCAA Tournament so the odds of winning are not even remotely close.

Also, your argument about Nick Saban makes no sense considering both Gene Chizik and Ed Orgeron have National Championships on their resume, yet both were fired from their previous jobs due to not producing the results needed to keep their Universities happy.

Not only are your arguments stupid by theirselves, you can’t even give a half a$$ decent reasoning behind your arguments.

I chuckled when he brought Saban's name into the Kevin Ollie discussion. Only a troll or a grade A moron would ever try to compare Ollie to Saban.

I wouldn’t have thought that since Barnes only has 1.

The only active coaches that have been to more than one Final Four:

K (12x)
Izzo (8x)
Boheim (5x)
Pitino (5x)
Cal (4x)
Ben Howland (3x)
Jay Wright (3x)
Self (3x)
Huggy Bear (2x)
Few (2x)
Sampson (2x)

There’s a lot of sleaze in that list. I wouldn’t want TN to hire most of them.

Correction: Howland WOULD take the TN job. Maybe even Pitino.

Who said anything about an upgrade? Just someone who can actually get things done in the big dance.
Pitino ( I know it wont happen but hes a sure fire upgrade.)
Dan Hurley( I think he would jump, TN is a better job than Uconn)
Brian Dutcher (A clear talent pool upgrade for him.)
Scott Nagy ( Needs more talent)
Then there's the easy answer in Forbes. He needs to be in Knox before hes somewhere else beating our heads in.
We are not a better job than UConn. You’re out of your mind.

So according to you Barnes doesn’t get it done in the big dance, but we should hire one of these guys???

Hurley has never made a S16
Dutcher has never made R32
Nagy has never made R32
Forbes has never made R32

Like I said in my post. Two of those guys are at schools where they arent able to get the talent there.

Saint Peter's says "hi" (and every other Cinderella from past seasons...lmao)

While gaslighting everyone about how CRB can't win in March you proceed to list replacements who haven't got it done in March. Your clown status on this board is about to surpass '85

Could’ve sworn Steve Fisher took San Diego State to multiple Sweet 16’s? And isn’t Saint Peter’s in the E8 with probably less talent than Wright State??

If you want to point to lack of tourney success from Barnes and make the claim you want someone who gets it done in March that’s fine, but at least then list coaches who get it done in March.

Funding also matters, correlates HEAVILY with recruiting success. Tennessee was 6th in the conference in 2019 and Barnes strongly overperformed that. I bet it’s ramping up under White now.

Hurley @ UConn is the opposite of that. Money without results.

We wouldn’t hire Pitino.

Nagy’s track record really isn’t much better than a lot of other low-major coaches.

Forbes is off to a good start, but doesn’t have the longest track record. A lot of coaches with similar profiles have crashed and burned.

I love Dutcher, but that’s because I think the media (and fanbase) drastically overvalues tournament success when trying to evaluate coaches.

Jim Larranaga gets his second if Miami beats Kansas.

Terrible choices. But not surprised
