Pains me to say it but Edey is probably the best player from the draft.

Averaging 11 and 6. Had double double last two games.

Edey has surprised me so far in adapting to the NBA game. And Memphis really had a need for a center. My main concern with Edey is injuries. He has shown already to be a bit fragile.

It seems most of the NBA is fragile lol. Have you seen the injury list for the Cavs/Pelicans game? It’s a joke.

Still have to be very selective on Memphis recruits. There are reasons why Calipari had very few Memphis kids on his roster. Didn’t want to deal with the headaches and hanger on’s.

Yep it’s an issue for sure. Edey appears to have some ankle issues which may be common with a guy his size. Hard to support 300 pounds of constant pounding.

The refs giving him the rookie treatment has been great for his quality of play. He's using all of his tools, not leaning as much on his size.
