Beer (and beer pics!)

Am I the only one that thinks Founders all day ipa tastes like water? Maybe I just got a bad batch, but it has lousy head retention and tastes like hoppy water to me.

All day IPAs are much lower in alcohol. Seems like a waste of money to me

You're not the only one, I have yet to have a session IPA that taste nearly as good as standard IPAs. The concept is great, just haven't pulled through for me and my expectations, I guess.

A group of us are trying to change some laws concerning craft beer stores and abv limits in Tennessee. Join us on Facebbok at http://www.facebook.com/DefyGravTN. There is also a change.org petition you can find HERE. We know which representatives will be most willing to help. Petition signatures will just help our case when they decide if they want to proceed with us.

Stone is one of my favorite breweries. I have a couple of limited release big boys waiting for a sharable occasion. Watch out for that Self-Righteous..

Yeah I love Stone. This is a great mix pack. That self righteous is very dark and high ABV.

I like to have sessions in my fridge so I can crack one open when I get home from work. Sometimes a big high grav stout can be a little much. But a nice 4-5% sour or saison will do the trick.

So resurrecting the thread with some bad news. Boscos in Nashville closed up shop. What makes it worse, the owners, in a classy move, didn't let their long time employees know. They showed up Monday and were told the doors were closing leaving them out in the cold.

Here's the story:
