I saw that. Any jalapeño or habanero beer I've had starts out great, but half way through, I want to throw it out. It is like censory overload. Maybe it is more subdued with ballasts version.

I felt the same with the Rogue Chipotle.

Anyone tried the grapefruit sculpin ipa from ballast point? Picked one up last night and am going to do a side by side with the Abita grapefruit ipa.

God I need to hit the beer store. Going to Asheville in a couple of weeks so I'm pretty stoked.

Haha, that's not hard to do, find breweries that I've given up hope, like Stone. Their older labels are good, but stuff like that Stochasticity Project is amazingly bad.

The Hibiscusicity definitely nailed the Hibiscus flavor. I felt like I was drinking a flower. Has anyone tries the Green Tea one they have out? It sounds.. Interesting.

That's kind of how I got into it; I really enjoy looking through that site.

I am just not familiar yet with all of the different crafts and where they are located. I know all of the Memphis and Nashville ones because they are obviously more available. But I have a local store that has a growler station that is allowing me to try different stuff. Was not a dark beer drinker until this winter, but I have enjoyed some of them.
