Beer (and beer pics!)

Toured the Wicked Weed Funkatorium...it's all good...really. All good.

Also toured the new Sierra Nevada brewery. Just an amazing place.

If I could only go to one place in Asheville, it's Wicked Weed and I would never complain that I couldn't go any where else.

The Funkatorium was very cool. Great thing is the fact there are plenty within walking distance. Burial was very cool also.

But Sierra Nevada...holy cow. The money in that place...

Any of you know where to find the Stone Green Tea IPA? I've been looking for that one, but can't find it. I tried the beer locator from Stone, but didn't turn up anything close, but I've never found those very accurate.

Must try this. I love Ballast Sculpen. Have a 12 pack of the hopped lager by Sierra Nevada right now. I can't get enough of this stuff. Flavorful and easy drinking. Oh yeah, and 7%.

It'd probably be hard to find now, but if you can track down the Electric Ray from their Summer Beer Camp this past year, it was pretty good. It was an India Pale Lager too. I think the Hoppy Lager is supposed to be similar to it. The Electric Ray was 8-8.5% I think.

Had an interesting double brown ale at Brixx...Foothills Hoppy Medium. Great higher-grav mix of nutty/coffee flavor and the bitterness of an IPA.

Ever get to Memphis visit Wiseacre brewery on broad.. Had a fantastic beer it's a coffee stout.. Get up to get down.. Got a growler and I thought it was great..

Went to Red Dog in Franklin earlier. Got some good stuff.

Stone Green Tea IPA
New Belgium Le Terroir
Bridgeport Hop Czar
Einstock Pale Ale (never tried, their white ale is great)
Sierra Nevada Hoppy Lager
Delirium Red

Been wanting to try the Green Tea IPA, it's had me intrigued. Le Terroir is one of my go-to drinks lately, really enjoy that one.

Only one I've had is Sierra Nevada Hoppy Lager. I'm a fan. Would love to try the rest.
