Tennessee has talent. Not to the degree of Georgia, Florida, Oregon, or Alabama along their two-deep but there is talent among the Vols starters. The problem is that most of the skill positions are manned by freshmen such as North, (RS) Croom, and Josh Smith on offense and Cam Sutton, Devaun Swafford, and Corey Vereen on D. Let us not forgot that less than a handful of these contributors have 5 career games under their respective belts. Couple this with a talent-laden, albeit, under performing offensive line and the 16th best running back in the nation in Rajion Neal and the Vols have enough talent to hang with the top ranked teams on their schedule for about the first half...and then the lack of depth catches up.
