Being on CBS again positive or negative?

How could it possibly be negative? We're not good this year so we need to hide our games from the public? Oh no! Somebody might see us suck! If we are seriously concerned about this then we are headed towards Kentuckydome faster than a speeding bullet. I'm sure for a long time Kentucky fans' first thoughts when finding out they are playing on National TV have been "not again! This Is so shameful! I can't believe people are going to see this all over 'Murca!"

Don't be the little dog across the street that hides behind the car when he poos because he's ashamed of pooing in front of people like all the other dogs.

Getting dissed by Gary and Verne on national TV is not my idea of a fun day to watch TV. I couldn't stand to listen to them when we were good. I hate to hear them now.

I actually think Danielson can be insightful, but it is hard to take them seriously when they thought the line freeze play was a trick play. If you have any sense, you realize you don't care what they think.

So is it good or bad we are on CBS considering the terrible product that is being put out? Rating prove many more viewers watch the 330 CBS game then for instance a 745 ESPN2 game. Thoughts?

Specifically talking about recruiting or just overall perceptions, like have the terrible records against ranked teams repeated over and over again etc etc.

Bad because I don't get to watch the replay when I get home from work like I would if it were espn

Since there was no flag for off-sides it did leave some explaining to do. With the off-sides flag it would have made more sense. Without it, it looks like you're trying to get your QB killed.

New grey jerseys at neyland against a top 10 team at a perfect time on probably the most popular tv network. Yea that sucks.

Maybe so. But I am not that old, and I have seen it several times before. I understand the reason behind it.

Spot on man. I really like Blackledge and I feel that he really respects Tennessee and our historical excellence. Even Nessler is good. As long as we are on the National networks I am happy though.

Being on CBS still matters. My family in California still txts me during the Vol CBS games because they get the game on their CBS channel in LA.

This game is to showcase GA not us. The bulldogs are a top tier program right now and we just happen to be their next opponent. TN has football facilities that rank top 5 in the nation..This university will not stay down because it can't afford to stay down. I know we suck right now but no inferiority complex is needed here because I can guarantee all Vol fans that we will return to greatness. This current staff has welcomed back all former coaches and players. We certainly did not see this with Kiffin or Dooley. Fulmer is back at the facility(see espn all access) and Majors as well..when have these 2 coaches ever agreed on anything? It seems to me that every former Vol great (incuding Peyton) has this staffs back...This is almost a failsafe recipe imo...After a couple of good recruiting classes, what more could you ask for?National coverage is always a good thing...and I love Joe Buck during postseason baseball

Positive.
There may be prospects watching and they get a chance to watch how Butch handles his players in a gameday atmosphere. I believe Butch can change some minds just by his interaction he has with the team (like when he got in Tiny's face and how he stays positive and continues to coach the team throughout the game).
GO VOLS!
