No there are not a lot of questions. Coaches work under MOU’s all the time. This is not some big story

His buyout drops from $10 million to $1 million this summer so he certainly has an easy option to bail on UNC at any point after that. An NFL team can find a million under their sofa cushions. Good chance he may only be at UNC for a single season anyway.

That will make for some interesting recruiting discussions. Then again kids don't even have to stay an entire year so I guess it really doesn't matter.

I wouldn't kick the tires when he has a foot and a half out the door before he arrives in the Football Complex. No point to set yourself up for a Kiffin ejector seat exit after one season. It would be even more crushing if he left before the summer ended.

How can UNC get recruits like this? I would hammer then w/ negative recruiting over this.

You know, there have been a couple dozen Tom Clancy novels published in the decade or so since he died that were written by other people. This kind of reminds me of that... it's like "the UNC Tarheels, a Bill Belichick team" and it's actually coached by his son.

Yeah, those ghost written Clancy books sux hard. Or, at least the ones when he was alive and 'co-writing'.

Haven't read one since he died.

Back in the day, Tom Clancy was a marvelous writer. Those things would be 800-900 pages.

No NFL team is gonna wait until June 2 to hire a HC so it is kind of a moot point, no?

He's either gonna get an NFL gig in the next week or so and pay his $10 million buyout or he will be coaching football at UNC this fall.

Those are the only two possible outcomes here
