I know she made it on Crusse's hate list, but Mariah had possibly the best pipes on the planet at one point. Not a fan of her music or anything, but the vocal talent she had going in the late 90's was insane.

Nothing wrong with anyone on your list. Especially Etta. But, can't leave out some of the MoTown greats. Add Billy Holiday while we're at it.

Most of my favorites are already listed. I like Sam Cooke better but Otis Redding deserves a mention as well.
