I'm not getting your point. I was just stating that Duke team had some good players on it, six which went to the NBA.

Great. I was only pointing out the 2011-12 squad because that guy acted like Duke having 6 NBA players on the roster was unheard of and therefore meant they're the best ever.

Are you serious? That's taking a lot from a six word statement.

Duke 2001 doesn't even have my vote as the best ever. I was just stating that roster had some good players on it.

Ok. Seemed like that 6 number was surprising to you. No big...:hi:

No. Six is a high number, but it's not the end all be all.

2007 Florida got my vote for the greatest team I"VE SEEN. I"m also young.

I hate being 30+ but it sucks for the guys that never got to see that UNLV squad. They were amazing to watch

In terms of recent years, have to go with 09 UNC...the future NBA players on that team...sheesh.

Also would have loved to see them play the 2007 UF team...but for me I give UNC the edge.

The UNLV teams had some weaknesses that could be exploited as Duke did the following year in the Final Four when they beat the same UNLV team.

They were not a great outside shooting team, they didn't have a dominant post player, they were not great in the half court game. However, they did have great pressure defense and if you couldn't handle that, you were going to be blown out, because it didn't let up.

The very next year, the almost identical Duke and UNLV teams met in the Final Four and Duke controlled the pace of the game and beat the Running Rebels. I think the UCLA teams of the 70s and the 75-76 Indiana teams could have done that also.
