-Metallica in 8th grade was my first
-311 & Rage at the Electric ballroom. Amazing night!
-Live at the World's fair park was great (I think :p)
-I saw DMB and Widespread (on different nights) play at Arnold's/Flamingo's on the strip in 92 & 93. Snuck in and there were only about 40 people there for each show.

7. Bela Fleck and the Flecktones

I got to see them in Madrid when I lived in Spain for a summer. Nobody else I was with had ever heard of them and I had to drag people to that show, needless to say it was the most amazing thing they had every seen (me too, for that matter). Other than that, I'd have to say hanging from the lights in a venue as large as large living room while Lucero blows the roof off is a very, very close second.

I've seen them about 5 times. They put on one helluva show every time. The best one was at a small venue in Detroit called Cobo Hall. The energy in that place was amazing. I think someone may have died during the rush to the stage though. There were people jumping off this ledge that had to be about 10-12 ft high onto the main floor. I think this person must have been trampled.

Who was the Knoxville frat band that broke into the intro to The Andy Griffith Show during Blue Sky? Did that really happen, or was I in some kind of dream?

Time frame?

This reminds me of a band called Elvis Hitler that did the Green Acres theme song to the tune of Purple Haze (it was called Green Haze)

They also have one of my favorite album titles:

Supersadomasochisticexpialidocious
