to what end? You threw him out there and I told you why he hasn't been mentioned yet. You, the NC homer are the only person to toss out his name. Everyone else deemed him unworthy of mention. Why does there need to be any more said?
I just wanted to hear a little more substance to back up your assertion, that's all. If you feel that you don't have the facts to provide that, I'm fine with that.
fwiw, I commented that I was surprised I didn't see his name *more* often in this thread. If you go back and re-read it, you'll see he was mentioned several times.
how many more facts do you need? He's consistently underachieved at both KU and even UNC. That's why he's not there. Championships trump everything else.
I'd have no problem saying Calhoun is equally as good as K if he won.IF Championships trump everything else (as you say), would you say that Billy Donovan is a better coach than Tom Izzo? What about Bill Self?
If Jim Calhoun wins his third title this weekend, would you say that he is equally as good as Mike Krzyzewski?
I wouldn't.
Really. He has a 100% winning percentage in the Final Four. Pretty impressive I'd say.
