Best Whiskey

anyone had Berheim Straight Wheat Whiskey or Prichards Double Chocolate Bourbon?

Recently tried this for the first time. To my knowledge, it was the first wheat whiskey I'd ever had. Very smooth, not as sweet as a Bourbon or a Tennessee.

That was what I wrote in the thread earlier about it but then golfballs pointed out that Wheat Whiskey are supposed to be sweeter so my opinion may not be all that well informed. Either that or I drank enough of it to forget what it tasted like, which is probably the more likely possibility. I know for a fact that I liked it quite a bit.

Bernheim is ok. Not a real good sipping whiskey, but will do in a pinch.

Never heard of Pritchard's Double Chocolate bourbon, but I absolutely love his Double Barreled bourbon.

Just what I've heard. I've never tried it. I just know that wheated bourbons are sweeter than normal bourbon. I like it better.

Just got a bottle of Four Roses Small Batch. It's gooder'n sheet. Why have I never tried it before?

The Easter Bunny brought me a bottle of bernheim wheat whiskey. Fantastic. Light and a little sweet. Perfect whiskey for the summer

My grandma and all her friends were taking shots out of my whiskey collection.......

Worked on a bottle Elmer T. Lee for the first time over the weekend, excellent whiskey, not sure how it took me this long to try it.

I have heard that is good ...

... but Jim Beam rye works for me. :good!: I think it is 17.99 a bottle, yet not "cheap whiskey."

George Dickel Barrel Select.....The BEST TN Whisky

Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve is another fav of Mine.

That's what I go with 9 times out of 10 but when there's a sale I'll pick up a couple different kinds smaller bottles of a little pricier stuff just to try as many different kinds as I can find. Last time I picked up the Elmer T. Lee and a bottle of 1792.

I've been singing it's praises on here for a while. One of my absolute favorites!

The 1816 Cask is a 113.6 proof cask strength whiskey with a robust flavor and incredibly smooth finish that instantly appeals to the true whiskey lover. We kept the proportions the same as the Reserve at 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley, because they’re just right. A stronger whiskey than its brother, the Reserve, the 1816 Cask is just as smooth. After a glass of Cask, you may never go back.

That is some stout whiskey.. I will be checking this out. Got to support the Tennessee Whiskey scene
