Best Whiskey

This.

Pappy Van Winkle's 23 year Family Reserve is the best I've ever had. Good luck finding it, if your in Nashville I've seen it at Whiskey Kitchen and Patterson House but even then they usually don't have the Family Reserve.

Bookers is one of the strongest bourbons on the shelf and is great over ice with a splash of coke or cranberry juice.

<----- Big fan of Pappy

The only place I have ever found the 20 or 23 year old Pappy has been in Chicago, the last bottle of 20 year old I purchased there ran me $115, but damn was it good and tasty.

The proof on the Bookers that I have purchased as ranged from 125.6 to 128 proof so a splash of coke or cranberry juice to me helps bring out the flavor more.

I can get behind that - I like adding a little ice and letting it melt a bit. I'm going to go pour a glass of Bulleit Rye.
