I love me some Jack don't get me wrong but for my money George is by far the better sipping Whiskey.

George Dickel 12 is my favorite whiskey. I have not tried the Barrel Select. Dickel doesn't cost much in the Ozarks.

Pappy Van Winkle's 23 year Family Reserve is the best I've ever had. Good luck finding it, if your in Nashville I've seen it at Whiskey Kitchen and Patterson House but even then they usually don't have the Family Reserve.

For bang-for-your-buck I'd suggest Woodford Reserve, for bargain basement I'd suggest Bulleit Burbin.

I'm told City House has Family Reserve as well, I've never been there.

The only place I have ever found the 20 or 23 year old Pappy has been in Chicago, the last bottle of 20 year old I purchased there ran me $115, but damn was it good and tasty.

Just saw you avi, I had a fraternity brother who was given a bottle of 23 year old as a wedding gift. He graciously offered some to the groomsmen, one of whom (bride's brother, go figure) mixed it with diet dr pepper...
