Better find you a new team

I think Cincinnati beat Vandy, unlike us. If you don't support Tennessee for the Orange and White, then GTFO!

if you want to pick a new team because things are going bad....go ahead and do it. I dont want to wear orange standing next to a bandwagon cry baby **** face like yourself. Ill support UT, their coach, their players, no matter what.

yes I'm disappointed at Hart too. I think this was a DISASTER. But you people take it way too far.

It happened today. 12/7/12. I have had to make sure that this nightmare is reality a couple times this morning. If you can polish this turd to make it shiny and a ray of sunshine, then you are delusional...This hire smells like, looks like, sounds like a desperation hire...The rest of the teams in the SEC are smelling the fear. This hire might scare Austin Peay or ETSU's new team, but not anyone else.

This coming from a former Dooley sunshine pumper. He's not a rockstar but he deserves our support until he fails at the job. If he doesn't pan out, Cheek, Hart, and Jones can all take the same bus out of Knoxville. But give the man a chance.

Dave Hart and Jimmy Cheek look like absolute trash in all of this. But I'm going to try to be patient and optimistic. The guy turned down 3 other FBS jobs in hope he might get to come here, so I guess that means something to me...

This was a person that was hoping for Dooley to succeed because he knew that we would once again have to settle for an up and comer

I'd rather have a coach than a negative whiney poster any day of the week.

Welcome Coach Jones

If you had been around longer, you would know that I am probably one of the most optimistic posters on the site

They called me a sunshine pumper for a reason

Nothing to pump right now. Jury is still out

The bad thing is they brought in a coach thats team had a better def than most of the coaches mentioned by the search. I believe that Fisher might have been the only one with a better def. That is exactly what everyone said Tennessee needed to get back a great def with a running game. That is exactly what coach Jones brings to Tennessee.

If the jury is still out, then why have you already convicted Butch of being a ****ty coach? What actual facts can you point to showing that there is no chance he will be successful here?

So then off your ass and start pumping some shine when it is needed the most instead of when things are going good (or not quite as bad).

Stand with me with honor in welcoming Coach Jones regardless of preconceived notions or beliefs.

It's always good to be a Vol, sunshine or no

We need to stand together with optimism and hope for the future while recognizing that there's a man who actually wanted this job. Good to be a Vol

This ship might just be at the bottom now

We can go lower. That first 4-8 (0-8 in the SEC) season is within reach, given our schedule (including Oregon at Autzen), a lower-tier coach who has never coached in the SEC and the impact this is bound to have on current players and recruiting. When your key players are tweeting Butch Who? and naming each other as coaches, there's cause for concern.

I believe this as well. 4-8 is a very realistic record (+/- 1 game) next year. Wins against Austin Peay, W. Kentucky, S. Alabama, & Kentucky.

He has never beaten a team in the top 25 as a head coach and got smoked by Dooley last year. This is such a disappointing hire.

because the next several years are not going to be for the weak of heart or mind

Save yourselves the pain and anguish now

Soon, other teams will say " We might turn out to be the Tennessee of the SEC" and not in the good way

This ship might just be at the bottom now

i agree, i think im done with college sports altogether. tennessee is a joke of a university these days. hart is garbage needs to be disposed of along with cheek.
