Well I'm from Flint. And yes there are nice people there, same for Detroit especially downtown. But overall, not the place to go looking for buddies.

When was the last time you've been to Cincinnati? They have done a really nice job with that city the past couple years. The riverfront near the ballpark is pretty nice now. It really seems like most of your comments are the extremely arrogant and ignorant ones.

If you are indeed what you say you are, well traveled, you sure can't tell by your grammar. I call BS. You are full of it. You have never been to Detroit and you have no idea what you are talking about with Cincinnati.


Second, you do not speak for the south. I think I do when I say your an embarrassment. This is my problem with southerners, we are so quick to throw out assumptions because we are scared of something, and that something can be other people. Saying yankees (and you should really look up what is clasified as a yankee, you may be surprised) are the problem, I disagree and welcome them. You have no clue what your talking and don't speak for me jerk.

You must be a prophit. I have most certainly been to Detroit and Cincinnati. You sir are an idiot and are no reflection of the southern genre. You are an imposter! Furthermore, you obviously have reading comprehension difficulty. No where in this post was the word yankee used. Obviously I don't speak for you because you sir are an obvious implant. My comments are not aimed at everyone from the northern part of this country. They are aimed at the people who constantly compare how much better it is in the north, all the while living here. Also, constantly telling everyone here how they did it up north and acting with this superior intellect, much like you. No, I don't pretend to speak for you because you are obviosly one of the people that I have described!
BTW A yankee is the same thing as a quickie, but you are alone.

Nope. Born and raised in Tennessee. And I would like for you to explain why you think they aren't of superior intellect. If you look at schools they blow the south away. The south is full of obese people and the least healthy. So please let me know what area you are talking as you seem to generalize a group of people, not odd for a lot of southerners, for what you claim they do to you.

And for the record I choose to judge individuals and I do not criticize where anyone is from, except maybe Bakersfield, CA. Ever been there?

Again, if you will read, instead of jumping to a conclusion without fully comprehending the point of my statement. I am in no way generalizing northern people. I am being very specific towards the ones who move here, complaining about how much more beautiful the area where they came from is and proclaiming their superior way of life. My point is for these people. I am aware that the North is full of good, decent and intelligent people. I have in no way generalized. As the matter of fact, I have been very specific as to whom this post was about. The very fact that you have taken exception with this post tells me that in no way are you a southerner. I was raised in Tennessee. NEVER, have I met another true southerner that isn't offended by these people and their attitude. The fact that you "welcome them" and defend their attitudes and their intellect tells me that you sir are one of them. This is a fact! I dont have to know you to know this. No where did I say that northern people are more stupid than southernere or vice versa. You are confusing education with intelligence and the two are very different and extinguishable things. Now, I have never been to Bakersfield; however, I have been to San Deigo, Los Angeles, San Fran and Sacremento.
