Biden-Harris Admin Used FEMA Disaster Funding For Illegal Immigrants

So the Biden Administration should declare a national emergency right now in order to have the executive power to divert funding...is that what you think he should do?

FYI...my point in my previous post was that we should look more at the process for funding and find the pitfalls there instead of just waving a pitchfork at one person/group. I never claimed to be an expert on the process and there's plenty I can learn.

From what I understand, Speaker Johnson could call the House back into session but he doesn't think he needs to.

“We’ll be back in session immediately after the election. That’s 30 days from now. The thing about these hurricanes and disasters of this magnitude is it takes a while to calculate the actual damages, and the states are going to need some time to do that,” Johnson said, adding that determining “specific needs and requests based upon the actual damages” from natural disasters takes time.

The SOH does not have the power to call congress back into session, only the president can do that. Article II Section 3 of the constitution covers that.

Yes, POTUS should declare an national emergency we have a long history of Presidents declaring them for a whole lot less than 2 major hurricanes hitting us B2B.

I don't disagree with some of your points...but I honestly could use a decoder ring for some of what you posted. I'm not following some of it.
Fair enough, it was ranty in nature.

Basically, Trump pushes a narrative, people subscribe to whatever ******** he's weaving that week.

I'm just going to say this, if a private or public business were to move funds around, hide them in other accounts and use the creative accounting our government does they would be shut down and many people jailed.
You can rest assured Trump would, oh wait......

I'll just say that this happening right before an election has certainly made things worse. Most politicians are going to be worried about how it affects them politically and how they should respond politically instead of just putting all the focus on the needs of the communities that have been impacted.

That is also true. Such is their nature, blue or red.

Congress sets Disaster Relief Fund budget, which - the right is claiming $ is going to immigrants - which isnt true. So the hand that is feeding you, is controlling the narrative.
Biden can request supplemental funding for DRF but Congress is out since Sept.
I have some ocean front property to sell you in Oklahoma if you think the Fema money isn't being spent on illegal immigrants but you know that.

They're using this fema money so it can't be traced or audited easily. Taxpayers can't really see what they're truly spending on illegals.

Give me a break. Stop being so easily manipulated. Even your own are saying, 'stop the insanity.'

They can’t help it…they’ll believe anything Don the Con says…anyone upset that the Speaker won’t bring the house back to vote on FEMA money for Florida? Anyone complaining about all
The Florida, Georgia and NC politicians voting against the first package? And before you start with the $750 BS even Laura Ingram knows what that money is for..bunch of Trump Cucks

President Joe Biden’s deputies have allocated roughly $750 million to settle thousands of diverse migrants in North Carolina communities since 2021.

The spending shows the administration’s preference for migration while many Americans in North Carolina lacked decent jobs, homes, and schools. The preference continues even after the Hurricane Helene disaster killed hundreds and wrecked myriad communities around Ashville.

This week, federal officials are offering a $750 fast-track loan to each victim of the hurricane disaster.

The biggest project in North Carolina is a $536 million program to operate an 800-bed refugee reception center in Greensboro, N.C. That funding comes through a government department created to help American families and children, dubbed the “Administration for Children and Families” (ACF). The ACF is part of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Over $221 million in primary grant awards have been issued during the Biden Administration for refugee aid and assistance services to be performed in North Carolina. These grants were issued to the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and to various religious and non-religious non-profit organizations.

More than “200 subgrants were issued with these funds throughout the state to local governments,” the site said, adding:

Non-profit ACF grantees in North Carolina provide comprehensive aid to refugees, including furnished apartments, assistance obtaining Social Security cards, enrollment in welfare benefits and health care, food, legal services, and employment services. Extended case management services are provided through two main ACF programs:

In 2024, these programs delivered 3,462 more migrants into North Carolina, according to an end-of-year report by a non-profit group, the Refugee Processing Center. The population included 413 people from Venezuela, 574 people from the Congo, 302 people from Burma, and 317 people from Afghanistan — all of whom must be expensively educated, trained, and supported to help them avoid poverty in Americans’ society.

The Speaker doesn't have the power to bring congress back for a special session, only the president has that power.

Good grief...536M for a reception center..our gov is rotten to the core.

Yeah, that's a good conspiracy to get all pissed off about, but there's no truth to that. I specifically talked about the Disaster Relief Fund. No money has been pulled from that fund and sent to a foreign government or used to help illegal immigrants. Even Speaker Johnson admitted that the money that might've been used to assist communities receiving immigrants was from a different pool of money. Now, if you think they shouldn't send money to other countries and should put that into the DRF, then fine. I'm not disagreeing with that, but you're acting like they directly pulled money out of the DRF and sent it elsewhere and that's not correct. This subject is more complex than "Biden's giving our money away". There are approval processes that run through Congress on budgetary items and maybe it would be good to focus on who is pushing those through. Here's a hint...folks that wear blue AND red ties.
Wears Blue and Red ties, ummm a bunch of clowns are pushing it through?
