That $ could've been used to help our neighbors and families right now, but we don't have the money anymore. We should have plenty of money for this, but these clowns have given it to other countries and funded the illegal immigration of their citizens into the US.

Hell...there are a lot of conservatives that can't stand Trump. Believe it or not, you can have opinions about individual politicians without total loyalty to one side or the other.

You're setting expectations based on your own biases and are surprised that someone with a different perspective doesn't confirm those biases in some way? We don't all see things the same way and we don't always come to a place of agreement at the same time. Here's something you won't agree with...I'm not criticizing the Biden Administration about the hurricane response right now. I think there's a lot of lies being put out there about the government's response to Helene and I think the full picture is going to be a lot clearer in the near future. The Republican governors of Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida have made public statements about the federal government response that give me pause on believing all the negative stuff out there. Not being critical now doesn't equal not being critical at all...I just want to make sure I'm not burning mattresses because some random person online told me I should. I expect there to be several good reasons for criticism, but I'm not going to critcize now just because someone told me to.

Also, just so no one gets their feelings hurt by thinking I'm presenting myself as totally neutral but not critcizing who they want me to criticize...I'm not totally neutral. I'm a moderate that would love to see the two party system go away, but I certainly have opinions about individual politicians. I can't stand Trump, several "ultra-MAGA" politicians, Bernie Sanders, and "the squad". I have my own views on what is extreme in either party and those all fit the bill. Plenty will have a different view and it doesn't hurt my feelings at all.

I said he strikes me as a moderate, not that he definitively is one. Do I need to be even clearer that I'm sharing an opinion? Again, it sounds like you're upset that he's not agreeing with your view (i.e. the "obvious issues"). I'll say this, we all have a different view of what would qualify as a moderate. The further left or right you lean, the harder it is to recognize a moderate.
