Biden wants 3 month mandate on Masks

You could have saved a few key strokes by stating that you were choosing to duck the question.

It's a pretty open ended question and there's no right or wrong answer, shouldn't be that hard to articulate what makes the U.S. "exceptional" versus its peers.
I just don’t have the time to post a book now. The question is nonsense and you should know the history of our nation the last 250 years and our accomplishments in that time. How much are you willing to pay me for a US history lesson ?

oooh tickets. So is that the same as a tax? Do you still get to drive your car? How much money will this democratic tax cost people who don't do as the overlords say?

Are you attempting to imply that I agree with ticketing for non compliance? You seem angry.

From my experience so far if you just walk in normally no one says anything about the mask, I’ve only been asked twice to wear one.

If it was really nonsense, you wouldn't be struggling to define what makes America "exceptional." Hell, I even gave you a list of areas to plant your flag. This shouldn't be very tough for someone who could fill up the Atlantic with examples.

You are not worth the time really. We have been innovative and leaders in many areas including science, industry, human rights , government, charity to nations in time of crisis to name just a few general topics. Goodbye and Good luck in your research.

Are our international 1st world peers not doing those things as well? Sounds to me like your implicit bias has affected your ability to not be personally offended by the question. That's very snowflakey.

The Trumpers are angry today because they realize that Biden is working on protecting Americans while Trump is focused on his hair and shower heads. Honestly, Trump should be more concerned about hair spray since it's the only thing holding that horrid comb-over together.

This is the exact problem with so many voters today- they think the govt is there to help them. Even worse when you believe that's their role and see what you'd give up for "safety"

Some have made significant contributions. Without a doubt the US set the standards to make us the most successful country during the last 250 years that almost all other civilized countries try to emulate. We did not get to this position by luck. By saying we are one of the most successful countries in the world is a testament to US citizens who make the country what it has been and what it is today. Hopefully we can hold on to the standard but it’s not very promising with the political climate the Far Left has created since 2016.

Trump has politicized the issue of whether or not to wear a mask. Anyone who wears a mask is either a liberal, or someone who is "giving in to liberals" in the land of Trump.
He was doing what you all wanted, you all trust Fauci completely and he said don’t wear a mask.

Your conflating leadership based on science in the middle of a pandemic with acquiescence. Give me a break.

Trump hasn’t politicized it. He endorsed it. Left it up the states and local jurisdictions. If he had tried to issue a national mandate he would have been sued multiple times over just like he has been criticized or sued for political reasons by the Democratic Party and radical left sending Federal help to quell the anarchists protests in some of the major cities. It appears most of the politicization of COVID has been one-sided.

In what way would you describe how the US is exceptional versus it's 1st world peers? Healthcare, crime and justice, technology, principles, happiness?

I'm genuinely curious as to what makes people like you believe that we as American's are "superior" to our peers.
Americans or America?

Your post indicates you are immature juvenile. Trump is trying to open up the country so we do not slip into third world status. It’s going to be painful whether we open up or not. I bet if you were faced with the same pressures our World leaders are experiencing now, you would likely be curled up in a corner in a fetal position hollering for your Mama.

I'm not sure it can be mandated. Would have to look into that.

But its tough to articulate exactly what is meant here by the campaign because its weak to say you want there to be "nationally encouraged mask wearing." That's where Trump f'ed up. By his words and actions, his lack of leadership, he discouraged it in some instances. But I get it, its hard to draw a dramatic comparison between Trump's silence on the issue and how much you as POTUS would acitvely encourage people to do it.

Ironically, you have a certain segment of the population that does not wear them now in some sort of odd show of solidarity with Trump despite knowing its a bad idea to go maskless. If Biden wins, some portion of the population will go maskless IN SPITE of knowing better, just because they think its antagonizing to the Dems. And each person that does that for that reason is a moron.
Whaboutism.

bfd. How big of a deal is it to wear the mask when buying your Totinos Pizza Rolls at Kroger?

The number of suburban white men screeching about the prospect of having to temporarily wear a piece of cloth over their faces is fascinating and hilarious.

The irony is that the lack of a clear, consistent message from the dotard in chief in an attempt to downplay and brush aside the infectiousness of covid will be his downfall. Irrespective of how deadly it is, the prolonging of having no strategy to short circuit the disease on a federal level is astonishing. American exceptionalism? LOL, we're the laughing stock of the world.
Whataboutism.

The constitution and the freedom it provides.
