Big 10 Championship ( #1 Oregon vs #3 Penn State)

Fine then drop SMU from the playoffs, and PSU below us. We host and Bama is in. I’m good with that.

Otherwise with the results tonight you keep SMU, drop Bama out, and we go to Columbus.
The latter is the only scenario that makes sense logically

But I would not be surprised if the committee flips the whole country the bird and puts Bama in

Unless they’re going to drop Penn state behind Ohio state somehow.
The only way I see that happening is if the committee suddenly decides Head to Head wins actually matter.

They might, they do love Ohio State but I think Penn State will more likely be the number 6 seed

Meh.. I think PSU needed to lose by 21+ tonight for that to happen. Although I will say that no one is talking about the fact our resume should be theoretically improved based on the UGA wining the SEC.

Idk. Where do you put Texas? They lost in OT. Texas, Notre Dame, Penn State all could be at 5 or 6 by different reasoning; I do feel like Notre Dame is the least deserving. Committee also could just set up the matchups they want then reason why the seeding is that way.

Personally I would like to try to avoid any first round rematches.

I'm glad Penn State lost, and I'm glad Bama ain't making the playoffs. Tonight was about all one could ask for.

High chance that Bama makes the playoff. SMU was NOT guaranteed a spot, just like all the others that played tonight who lost. The committee never said the losers were guaranteed a place.
