Big 12 Championship #3 TCU vs #10 Kansas St

“And Max Duggan willed the football to morph forward by the sheer volume of sweat and desire, in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds, carrying his team, his coaches and all of horned frog nation on his back, going all the way back to his high school weight room, where he walked 10 miles both ways wearing hand-me-down Cuga sneakers and eating salmon patties and drinking water from the hose pipe.
If that’s not a Heisman story for the ages, I don’t know what is, Chris.”

No doubt

How many guys have you seen run 100 yards……but can’t get off the field on their own?

He ran 80, on 5 plays with time in between. I said I know he is tired……..but he isn’t “crippled.”

Everyone and their momma making more of it that it was. We see folks do that all the time and they don’t need help getting off the field or need announcers making something of it.

great play…….but everyone plays tired.
He ran 95 because of penalties. He took 6 hits as well on those runs. Why does one have to be so cynical that a dude can’t be worn out and beat up to take a minute to walk-off? RB’s pull themselves out after 2-3 runs in a row all the time and they’re conditioned to that. He carried the ball the entire drive while not being conditioned to run that much or take those hits.
