Big Brother 17

I am glad he is the target..........he is a weirdo.........James may have a heart attack when the twins come in.........dude will be like oh man there are 2 smoke bombs uuhhhhhgg

I'm thinking he might not be, unless Vanessa is a real player. But, she doesn't seem to want to get "blood on her hands" so who really knows if she'll go through with it. It's not jury time yet, is it? She's just worried about putting him up as a replacement and having to deal with him until eviction.

Vanessa is playing a brilliant game. She's already sent one person home in the first few weeks. It'll be harder for her to be the person secretly pulling strings behind the scenes when she's directly sending everyone home. I get why she doesn't want more blood on her hands, especially when she can get what she wants, either way.

I picked James at the beginning, but at this point she is clearly the best player. Much like Derrick last year, she is controlling others without them knowing it...and she is a good competitor.

I don't think he will be anymore now that she is HOH. The numbers aren't in her favor to do it yet even though she has told the house this is their target this week.

I'm thinking Becky is gone unless the house wises up and takes out a threat like Clay if they remain on the block.

Doubtful that it is anyone, but like I said, I don't know if V would be willing to actually put him up. Unless they do the same thing they did to Jeff. And she seems to have a lot of ammo against him to do so. We'll see.

Vanessa was playing the best game but she just blew it....Not only do you tell your target in time for them to rally you just bathe in blood by not putting them up....now the whole house hates you and Austin will put you out if he gets the chance

I knew she couldn't do it.

Side note: did anyone catch that train sound they played when Becky was talking about her being road kill? Very subtle, CBS.

I'm happy with how that turned out. Austin is a cool dude and Jason is definitely the brains of the other side of the house.

Also I noticed that train horn too, lol.

I knew it too. Boring!

I didn't notice, I watch while I work out in the morning and I barely have it loud enough to hear them talk. Too funny though!

Vanessa was doing so good and then she just got used by her alliance. They made her piss off the entire house instead of sacrificing one number (who was a loose cannon) when they aren't really short on numbers.

Yeah, that's all weird. Let's keep one more person around in our own group that we'll have to get rid of later. Why not just replace him with the twin?

How is it not short on her side? I knew she wouldn't put up Austin because they still need him. Without him she would only have 3 on her side. Not counting Julia yet.

There are 7 others.

Why aren't you counting Liz and Julia? They both play after this eviction. She has Clay, Shelli, Liz, Julia and Austin, now that she didn't get rid of him. So, she would still have 4 on her side while I didn't really see that there was necessarily "another side". She just created one though, IMO.

The last 2 lines are the problem. Get rid of Austin and Johnny Mac, Dark haired furniture and glasses furniture will trust you and work with you the next couple weeks. Now you probably just united everyone else, and after eviction its basically 6 vs 6.

Also she will be the sacrificial lamb if somebody from the other side wins HOH. Her side will simply say, "idk wtf she was thinking and chuck her under the bus." Such a dumb game move.

Exactly. They don't have the majority of votes, but they do have the biggest alliance.

If an alliance gets too big, it will invariably fall apart because people have to betray each other leading to total implosion. When there are issues like this one with Austin, you have to take the chance to thin your own herd. All of your allies will still trust you after you do one of your own. That's hard to come by. Take the opportunity.

Might not be sides but clearly the in group that keeps winning. The rest of the house needs to start doing something other than getting picked off one by one.
